Jeff Sessions: 'Not enough evidence' for special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton
Guardian (UK) ^

Posted on 11/14/2017 10:10:29 AM PST by TigerClaws

Jeff Sessions on Tuesday said there was “not enough evidence” to appoint a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton, a day after reports surfaced that the attorney general had authorized senior prosecutors at the Department of Justice to evaluate an inquiry into the Clinton Foundation.

Testifying before the House judiciary committee, Sessions also appeared to push back on Donald Trump’s repeated insistence that the FBI should focus on investigating Clinton as opposed to potential collusion between his own presidential campaign and Russia.

I previously thought Sessions primarily is weak, but at this point he is clearly evil.

A person is under much more effective and complete control by making them wealthy than by threatening them.

Or better yet, “they” stalled long enough.

Here eMails alone provided substantial evidence to start up to five investigations. I don’t remember them all now, but at one point I could touch on them all.

Lets see:

1. placing classified information on one or more unauthorized private servers or computers
2. sending classified information to a private insecure unauthorized device
3. other violations of federal laws about how classified information are to be handled
4. taking funds from entities she had the power to benefit directly with her government position
5. misusing charitable funds for personal use
6. urging major entities to help her husband make money
7. accepting unreasonable amounts of fees for speaking engagements, no reasoned person would pay unless they wanted something in return
8. paying for her daughter’s wedding out of foundation funds, if true

I’m sure I’m leaving a lot out...

The thing is, these eMail dumps were/are a treasure trove of information that the FBI or Justice Department had/have access to without breaking the law to obtain it.

Cases are made and prosecuted on this sorts of information all the time. This is why the FBI and Justice Department confiscate computers in the first place.

If there is no evidence here, then there is no evidence ever in cases that are derived from private personal information.

The woman is on the record lying over and over and over again.

She claimed for years that Benghazi was all about an internet video. She lied to everyone about it.

I’ve been reluctant to, but I have stopped denying that any longer.

"It's been nearly a year. We should be seeing noticeable progress towards making America great again and we just ain't. Maybe there is no 8-dimensional political chess going on. Maybe Trump is simply unable to make a dent in the swamp and its legions of monsters."

It looks like it is Trump versus the swamp alone. The Deep State has him isolated. Seems they keep the President busy acting presidential: state dinners and reviewing troops abroad, negotiating prearranged deals, the pomp and circumstance of the office. All the while most of the bureaucracy and Congress goes their merry way implementing the Globalist/Progressive agenda of the Bush-Clinton-Obama cabal. Trump is the better man individually, he simply has few if any allies in a position of power to help him.

... but I did not hear him say your quote. He said almost that, but not exactly.. can you point to where his exact words were on a special prosecutor? (I heard him say that “looks like” was not enough evidence... however there are crimes that are not hearsay or “looks like” and he did not answer that one when Mr Jordan was asking the questions. The difference between saying he would not have a special counsel for “looks like”, and actually considering a special counsel as we speak, for evidence he has... are 2 different situations. He has already told congress he is considering investigating what he has been asked to do, with evidence that has been thrust on this reluctant AG. I’ve been sorely disappointed in Sessions this morning.. but I don’t think he ruled out anything... he was just not too friendly to our Mr Jordan this morning and it didn’t set well with many of us.)

After Rep Jim Jordan’s grilling, Swamp Creature Sessions was angry. Oh dare we question this piece of s***.

Yes....... maybe Sessions knows more about Moore than most of us. I wonder if that story about Moore being asked to stay away from a local mall looking for young girls is true.

Wasn’t some FBI informant called to testify before some committee? Whatever happened to that?

He didn’t use the word evidence, he said not enough justification, and refused to acknowledge the existence or non-existent of an investigation.

Basically he just doesn’t believe a special proscutor is required.

He’s worthless. Just like Trey Gowdy. All talk.

That's the way all of these congressional hearings are. They're worthless. The real onus lies on the shoulders of our justice department, but of course we know how that goes...

A sad day in the Trump Administration when the man you hired and had faith in to do the right thing not only turns away from doing the right thing, but even turns his back on you when your enemies bring out the knives.
