Democrats have been falling all over themselves to attack Republicans in the wake of the accusations that broke against Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore. Media has been covering it non-stop.
Its understandably a story. Moore was accused of inappropriate conduct with a 14-year-old some 39 years ago, when he was 32. He also was accused of trying to date three other women aged 16, 17 and 18 at around the same time.
No one wants a Senator who may act inappropriately with a 14-year-old if the story is true.
But will Democrats and media turn the same attention to this story, when it involves a Democrat?
David Alcon is a Democrat running for Congress from the second district in New Mexico.
But he made the local news recently when a warrant was issued for him for allegedly stalking a woman.
*snip *
He was previously convicted of aggravated stalking a woman in 2007. At that time, the Deputy DA in charge of the case said Alcon was previously convicted of domestic violence, battery, assault and violation of a restraining order.

The Dums will gladly sacrifice this small fry in order to better go after Moore. He is a much bigger fish.
Creepy guy = Democrat
Sounds like a Democrat to me.
Democrats will be hush-hush about it, but if it hits the MSM, they’ll throw him under the bus.
In Alabama 39 years ago trying to date teenage girls was not inappropriate. At 14 years old a girl was old enough to get married with parents’ permission.
Exactly.
OK, One aggressive stocking conviction and now another arrest. So he’s qualified to be a member of congress or at least to play one on TV.
2.) is not a matter of calculation where Democrats control the vote count.
All other considerations are extraneous.

I grew up in the south not far from Bama .
One of the girls I went to school with got married at 14.
I thought she was crazy but I went to the wedding .

Ever heard of statutory rape?

In the 1970’s in Alabama I suspect that none of these ‘facts’ (if true) would have alarmed anyone. I expect it was normal behavior for much of the state and it seems it was pretty normal for much of the country at the time.

Don’t these kind of people go on to be mass murderers>?
It must be genetic.
Not at 14. I was 19 and my wife was 17. We married in 1977 and her father had to sign for it down at the court house. Was still 18 in the west.
Politicians rape us on a regular basis.
There's be nothing wrong with a young man in his early 30s dating a girl 16 or older with her parents permission.
But he made the local news recently when a warrant was issued for him for allegedly stalking a woman.
NM Ping List.
The other two spoke of dating and kissing at around 18, but
not "doing the wild thing".
Another woman claims a reporter offered her thousands of
dollars to say Moore acted inappropriately with her.
Typical RAT/fascist smear tactics.
