Yes, if she were a victim of some kind of creepy guy, she wouldn’t have him sign her yearbook. He was not a student. When a man gives you the creeps or does something to scare you, you avoid him in the future. Unless you want something from him. Unbelievable.

He was a DA in Etowah County, Alabama. He was first appointed to succeed a deceased state circuit court judge, then was elected to a full six year term later.
He had a Ten Commandments plaque in his circuit courtroom and gain some notiriety for that. He was later elected as Chief Justice of the state supreme court.
Was wondering the same.
This was rather glaring to me. First of all, there was nothing suggestive in his autograph of her yearbook. Secondly, she closed her pathetic victim statement by saying she kept it quiet because no one would believe her, well she had the yearbook then just as she does now and she could have used it as evidence at the time of the assualt, right? The next interesting thing is is that she stated she got in the car and only lived two and a half miles away. Instead of him going to the highway, he went to the back of the building, which did not alarm her because they could have gotten to her house without going to the highway. It should have alarmed her unless he already knew where she lived. The next thing about him assaulting her at the back of the restaurant, if that was his intent why didn’t he leave the premises and go someplace further away from the restaurant?

Many of us lean toward the victim, but there have been a number of rather striking claims made by women who were lying about it.
Remember that young woman who claimed the football team members took turns with her? It practically destroyed that football program. It may have, I just don’t remember.
You and I think of good honest people out there. Democrats/Leftists/Liberals/Communists/Socialists/Alynskyites/Soros et al, these folks think that the ends justifies the means.
There’s no way I can accept what this woman says on face value. Her mom says she didn’t even have a phone in her room. What else has she fabricated related to this case?
She readily admits she is known as a major flake in her community.
What basis do we have for believing her?
She has a couple of friends that are standing by her. When you were 14 did you accept everything another 14 year old told you? Surely you knew 14 year olds that made stuff up just to impress others.
Is that what these “friends” are recalling? Braggadocio stuff?
Who knows?
What we do know about Moore is that he has had such a clean record for the last 38 years, that they had to go clear back to that time frame to find a hint of a scandal on him.
That’s pretty squeaky clean! And if he had that bad of morals back then, I don’t think he could have stayed clean for the next 38 years.
There’s a lot of room for questioning the veracity of this woman, and I’m not comfortable to defaulting against a man just because a woman makes a claim 38 years later.
How do you defend yourself against that, even if you’re pure as the driven snow?
Maybe someone can find the boyfriend, who was late picking her up, to come in and corroborate the story. He would surely tell about how traumatized she was, and how he had to talk her out of going to the police, etc.
I watched the thing live. The Lady read her statement and it was pretty slow and pathetic at first. But then she starts crying and reading a very detailed description of the incident including Moore supposedly locking the car door and not letting her leave as he gropes her. Then he supposedly said “you’re a young girl, I’m a DA, who is going to believe you”.
The attack as described sounded more like Bill Clinton than Roy Moore. Kind of hard to believe Roy Moore could have done it. So then you have to wonder what is this woman getting for all this? This is small town Alabama and she has to live with her neighbors.
For a while I found myself sort of believing her. But she went too far with the acting. Towards the end I was not buying the whole thing. She wants us to believe she is still traumatized after decades just because a man tried to put the move on her when she was 16. What she described was not attempted rape but someone aggressively cornering her, touching her and trying to kiss her. Bad but inconsistent with the level at which she was crying and carrying on. Lots of women have gone through similar incidents and don’t act that way after 30+ years. I don’t mean to sound insensitive but that’s how I saw it.
However I suspect Republicans will buy this sob story. Now with two woman I doubt Republican cowards will stand by Moore and attack these women.
IF Moore gets elected he will likely get expelled. All McConnell needs is 21 Pubs. I expect McConnell and his RINO buddies will go after Moore if he is elected. Moore has to get Senators behind him or he is toast.
There has to be retribution enacted if the Senate expels Moore for these ridiculous charges. Even IF the charges were true I think Alabama should decide who is Senator and not these RINOs.
I believe part of her story. She describes what sounds to me like a "flirty" relationship with him at the restaurant. I worked as a server at her age at a truck stop, and had older admirers who brought me little gifts, teased me, etc, but I never got in a car with any of them.
It's just too convenient that Roy was there to offer her a ride home on the same day/time that her possessive violent tempered boyfriend was late to pick her up.
Then she says nothing to her boyfriend when he does pick her up even though she says she had been crying, bruised black blue and purple around her neck and shaken from a rape attempt?
Too many holes in her story....
