Moore: McConnell is one who should step aside
The Hill ^ | 11/13/2017 | Avery Anapol

Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore responded to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R-Ky.) call for Moore to "step aside," saying that McConnell is the one who should do so.

"The person who should step aside is [Senate Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell. He has failed conservatives and must be replaced," Moore tweeted on Monday.

His tweet comes after McConnell said on Monday that Moore should withdraw from the race.

Several conservative leaders have called for Moore to step down following allegations that he engaged in sexual encounters with teenagers in the past, including one 14-year-old girl who alleged that he kissed and touched her sexually when he was 32.

McConnell originally said that Moore should step aside “if these allegations are true,” a sentiment echoed by other GOP senators. But when asked Monday about the allegations, McConnell said, "I believe the women."

Moore has denied the accusations and threatened to sue The Washington Post, which published the original report detailing the allegations. He has told his supporters that he plans to remain in the race.

The Uniparty hates Trump because he is giving the US citizens their last chance to keep their country.
There has been a 30 year plan put in place to steal the country by importing foreigners.
The final amnesty that would cement the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) into place has been sought repeatedly since 2006. They sold us Rubio to get the last one in 2013.
We have been prevented from electing anyone who would side with US and the rule of law.
Trump had the wealth and fame to break through the Bush blockade at the RNC.
The most important thing to the Uniparty is protecting the demographic changes they have made to the country against the will of the citizens.
That’s what drives the NeverTrump, the media and the Democrats hatred of Trump, it is an extension of their hatred of US.

winner3000 wrote ~ (McConnell said, “I believe the women.”) This one utterance just disqualified McConnell to have any sort of leadership position within the GOP. So much for innocent until proven guilty...and look at the relevant actors on the other side: the Washington ComPost, Allred, etc? Yeah, let’s believe those ultra-partisan smear merchants over any conservative or Christian, right McConnell? Excellent comment, and I am just as angry as you are!

Two times I’d like to be a fly on the wall is the first time Senator Moore meets with Senator McConnell, and the first time Senator Moore meets with Senator Baldwin.

(McConnell said, “I believe the women.”)

Why can't I remember a Democrat saying the same thing back during Bill Clinton's run for the presidency, terms in office and impeachment?

He can’t deny him a seat.

He can try to expel Moore. But that would open up other GOP
Senators to allegations on them as well. New allegations.
Don’t think Mitch will open that can of worms.

Hence, they are trying to knock out Moore on the front end.

Has anyone heard him say “I believe the women” and ask for anyone else to step aside? If you believe the women Bill Clinton shouldn’t be seen in public but should be in jail. Not a word from any of them though.

[[But when asked Monday about the allegations, McConnell said, “I believe the women.” ]]

This utterance in public is more proof that McConnell is not fit to lead anything. You have to either be a complete idiot to say something like this especially when the woman own mother proves she is a liar or you are completely sold out to opposition . I don’t believe McConnell I believe he is any enemy to every conservative in this country . He is why NOTHING changes .

I've defended McConnell from a lot of attacks here on FreeRepublic, but his public call for Moore to drop out of the race was an 'effing outrage.

He hasn't uttered a peep about a sitting U.S. Senator on trial in New Jersey for corruption and bribery right now, including allegations that the "gifts" he received included trysts with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.

“Several so-called “republicans” have called for him to step down, but I know of NO “conservatives” who have asked that...”

It’s just more objective evidence of how we’ve been played by “the conservatives in Congress.” Turns out, when the lights go on (with the election of Donald Trump), that what we see aren’t Conservatives, but RINO cockroaches who have been lying to us for decades. Shame on us for our abject stupidity when we vote. But we’ve had a lot of “help” from the MSM in making those decisions. But I think now it’s “game over.” for the RINOs and I think they know it.

All R’s should vote for Moore.
A write-in campaign will elect the D.

IF the Senate kicks out Moore, the the Alabama governor will appoint Strange.

Thus, the seat remains a R.
