Apparently it took only one email from Media Matters to get Keurig to fold.
I thought Hannity went straight down the middle, neither supporting nor accusing. I don’t think Moore conducted himself very well and I did think there was a whiff skepticism in Hannity’s voice, but to pull ads from Hannity’s show over this is a ridiculous overreaction!
I would never take the human element out of making coffee.
Hit Keurig where it hurts.
Smash their coffeemakers.
This is going to send a strong message.
Hannity made a very reasoned statement of why he was not “rushing to judgement” in condemning Judge Moore. He reminded folks of the indictment of Richard Jewel for the Atlanta bombing, that it was later proved he did not do and the college team, soccer or lacross, that the black female claim mass raped her and those charges were later proved to be a hoax.
Who does Keurig think is buying their machines? Its not the elite nor the cool hipsters. Its middle America who thinks average coffee by the cup is a good idea. I have one and it was a gift from my mom so it stays. Plus my husband and kids ( who all think gas station coffee tastes good) like the convenience.
Smashing your Keurig is symbolic at best. Keurig already got your money and they could care less.
Some of our so-called, ‘Modern Conveniences’ are downright stupid.
Just make a pot of coffee (or two or three, if you’re ME!) at home and compost your coffee grounds and filters.
Billions of K-Cups wind up in landfills each year, and Keurig won’t even have compostable cups until 2020:
Call me a, ‘Crunchy Conservative’ but this kind of manufactured laziness drives me NUTS. And don’t even get me started on disposable diapers. ;)
I paid $10.00 for my coffee maker from Aldi.
It came with a reusable filter.
I stock-up on coffee when it’s on sale - 10 bags, 20 bags, whatever.
Ridiculous spending this much a coffee maker and those stupid refills.
Companies are pulling their ads from the show because he went too easy and an interview? That seems weird.
Since I don’t buy Keurig coffee I don’t see how smashing my current machine would hurt them. However, these coffee makers tend to die after 3 or 4 years and I won’t replace mine with a Keurig unit.
If you already paid for it, smashing it seems to be cutting off your nose to spite your face. Not buying one. and urging others to follow suit is much more appropriate.

Thanks but no thanks. I wouldn’t give WaPo permission to clean my toilets.
