Opinion: Roy Moore wreaks havoc in Alabama and beyond
Washington Post ^ | November 10, 2017 | By Ed Rogers

... I have been fretting for some time about Roy Moore coming to the U.S. Senate. He embodies every negative stereotype anyone ever had of people from Alabama. As I wrote soon after his win in the GOP primary, “Moore is bad for Alabama and worse for the GOP.” Well, I didn’t think it was possible when I wrote that piece a couple weeks ago, but things have managed to get even worse.

Suffice it to say, I was worried then — and more so now — that if anyone or any company considered moving jobs to Alabama, holding a conference in my home state or doing anything to contribute to our economy, we would have to hide Moore. Rather than use the senator and the resources a Senate office brings as a recruiting tool, businesses will shy away from having anything to do with toxic Roy Moore.

Anyway, Moore is more than just another embarrassment produced by Alabama politics. His presence has had profound national implications. Specifically, a traditionally safe Republican seat will likely flip to the Democrats.

The fact is, as Josh Holmes told the New York Times: “This is what happens when you let reckless, incompetent idiots like Steve Bannon go out and recruit candidates who have absolutely no business running for the U.S. Senate.” I won’t go so far as to suggest Moore’s rise is entirely due to Bannon — after all, Bannon only jumped on the Moore train a few weeks out from the election. But the presence of people like Moore and Bannon in the American political space is dangerous. Republicans everywhere need to say so and make clear that there is no justification for supporting Moore.

I would give credence to anyone who supported Brooks over Moore. Their politics are very similar and Brooks wouldn’t have the baggage that Moore brings with his prior disciplinary issues as a judge (even if I agree 100% with Moore on those, and respect him for what he did).

Single out the residents of a single Southern state and badger them for their supposed backwardness, and they will retaliate at the ballot box.

I predict a huge positive backlash for Judge Moore on election day.

McCain

Now there is a prime example of honesty. I recall it was a political deal that kept him out of prison regarding the savings and loan scandal which his buddy Keating was in up to his eyeballs.

Wow. Imagine if someone said Obama reinforces every ghetto stereotype of Chicago...

Meanwhile Vogue magazines promotes incest and pedophilia or reducing gay sex consensual age because it was just for backward society to have it at 18...

Not me. If I lived in Alabama I’d be 100% behind him right now, and dragging everyone I know out to vote for him.

Which reminds me.

Has Roy Moore responded to these allegations. If he has, I have not seen it (nobody covered it).

He needs to say something. And LOUDLY.

Predators don’t stop, they are like serial killers only they kill careers and ruin lives instead of murdering people. If Roy Moore were a predator, there are going to be a string of victims over a period of time. If he did molest teen girls 34 years ago, there is no way beyond he said/she said to prove one way or the other, and that’s a problem.

The people like Weinstein who are a problem are going to leave a trail of devastation in their wake. Does Roy Moore have a trail of devastation that leads to his door? At the end of the day, what we are talking about are criminals who behave with depraved indifference to their victims. That is the reason they are a problem. Has Moore shown himself to be that sort of person, or is it simply that actual predators sick with Potomac fever do NOT want Roy Moore crashing their party and calling them out?

Washington is hardly pure as the driven snow. In fact they call it Hollywood for ugly people.

As a Jewess on the US, I can only point out that the number of women who allegedly DATED, but had no sex with, Roy Moore is EXACTLY the same number who accused President Clinton of FORCIBLE RAPE, a FAR more serious offense. Now we know why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST. Just sayin’!

Another Freeper found these posts on the Fox Business Facebook page that was talking about this story:

Who was the freeper that originally posted this? This is a bombshell if it can be verified.
