Opinion: Roy Moore wreaks havoc in Alabama and beyond
Washington Post ^ | November 10, 2017 | By Ed Rogers

Posted on 11/10/2017 11:27:46 AM PST by Oldeconomybuyer

... I have been fretting for some time about Roy Moore coming to the U.S. Senate. He embodies every negative stereotype anyone ever had of people from Alabama. As I wrote soon after his win in the GOP primary, “Moore is bad for Alabama and worse for the GOP.” Well, I didn’t think it was possible when I wrote that piece a couple weeks ago, but things have managed to get even worse.

Suffice it to say, I was worried then — and more so now — that if anyone or any company considered moving jobs to Alabama, holding a conference in my home state or doing anything to contribute to our economy, we would have to hide Moore. Rather than use the senator and the resources a Senate office brings as a recruiting tool, businesses will shy away from having anything to do with toxic Roy Moore.

Anyway, Moore is more than just another embarrassment produced by Alabama politics. His presence has had profound national implications. Specifically, a traditionally safe Republican seat will likely flip to the Democrats.

The fact is, as Josh Holmes told the New York Times: “This is what happens when you let reckless, incompetent idiots like Steve Bannon go out and recruit candidates who have absolutely no business running for the U.S. Senate.” I won’t go so far as to suggest Moore’s rise is entirely due to Bannon — after all, Bannon only jumped on the Moore train a few weeks out from the election. But the presence of people like Moore and Bannon in the American political space is dangerous. Republicans everywhere need to say so and make clear that there is no justification for supporting Moore.

Just like Donald J. Trump, Judge Roy Moore has all the right enemies.

This is an opinion piece—NOT a news story. Fake news. Shame on the Compost, shame on Bezos. Shame on the writer.

If there is a Washington Post at that time, they will probably “fret” about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ! He is, after all, going to be quite “judgemental”, and His views are much more “extreme” than Judge Roy Moore.

Maranatha!

It’s bad - nobody outside the state is trying to defend Moore at all. Remember this: the GOP would rather help elect a Democrat than Judge Moore.

Globalist Cheap Labor Expressers like the author know that if Moore succeeds, the floodgates will open for the destruction of the the uniparty establishment. Hence the desperation.

I wasn’t too crazy about Moore before....but now, I’m fired up, I hope he wins in a landslide. And I think the people of Alabama are going to see right through this and send a big “FU” to the GOPe.

Judge Moore spoke at our church some years ago. I did not know him from Sam Smith before that. After that I admired his stance. He had recently been dismissed from the Supreme Court the first time because of his Christian stance. They have hated him and been after him ever since. I backed him from Day ONE and will until shown, SHOWN evidence that he did this. Not by a DIMIOCRAT backer and supporter of Obama, klinton, and campaigner of the opponent Doug Jones.

This is so blatant I can’t help to think this is a trial run for republicans. (I no longer will capitalize republicans)

The republicans are clearly trying to steal this election and give it to the democrat. But why? Is it practice for the midterms? for 2020 against trump? or it could be they are trying to gaurantee the republicans lose control of the senate AND the house by the midterms.

Moore was doing just fine until the Mitch hobbled him with a coordinated hit job.

Isn’t Ed Rogers the guy that went to Epstein’s Orgy Island, all those times with Bill Clinton where they continually raped little girls and boys, ??

And there’s a reason the ComPost is pushing this story hard.

Some big news is about to be released about journalists with the hands in the Fusion GPS cookie jar being paid to stoke up stories about Russian collusion.

Nunes has the information in his hands. The other shoe is going to drop soon. Kimberley Strassel of WSJ is following this story.

So the Moore scandal is an attempt to change the narrative and deflect from the barrage of Hollywood stories, Donna Brazile, and dossier stuff that is going.

Better load up on your popcorn!

President Trump knew what he was doing when he endorsed Strange over Moore.

And during the primary, I believe we had a couple of Freepers from Alabama who thought Brooks was the sound choice and who raised doubts about Moore.

I have been fretting for some time about Roy Moore coming to the U.S. Senate.

Which perfectly explains why leftist and RINOs in DC hatched this plan to spread completely unprovable rumors 1 month before his election to US Senate!

Replace “Roy Moore” with “Donald Trump” in this piece, and you’ll see that these pr!cks were saying the exact same thing a year ago about the guy who is now sitting in the White House.
