WHERE’S THE CRIME ?
THESE ALLEGED MOORE SEXUAL MISCONDUCT INCIDENTS OF 38 YEARS AGO WERE WITH FEMALES BEYOND THE AGE OF CONSENT. THEY SHOW NO IMPOSITION OF PHYSICAL FORCE OR WILL WHICH WOULD MAKE IT A CRIMINAL ACT.
In the 19th century marriages between teen aged women and older men were common so the age of consent was in the teens. Presently the age of consent for women in Alabama is 16. In 1979 according to Gateway Pundit it was 12. In Mexico it’s 14.

At some point you would think the masses would storm Washington. Citizen government reset and all.

I don’t see this fake story being an issue. They tried to take Trump out with that BS recording, but voters weren’t buying it, and I don’t think this will make a difference either. Most voters have already made their minds up by now.

People ought to keep in mind that one doesn’t exit a wrestling match with a skunk smelling like a rose.

It’s an open invitation for more to pile on. The Dems are filthy rich; any fine will be easily covered. Nothing really would have been taught to anybody, except to see the words “Moore” and “scandal” together a zillion times in print and on TV to the low info crowd. Just say it’s untrue, Roy, and let it go.

They’d rather split the ticket and get a Democrat than a conservative. Sometimes I lose hope.

It would look to be more like a “moral smear.” So what if Alabama looked like the bible till sometime after 1979. It still can get a lot of tongues wagging.

Don’t pour water on the gasoline, Roy and supporters, and spread the flames. Just say (if so) that it was untrue and go on. If it was a moral tryst, confess your sin. The problem with a Moore is that he might have come on as so plaster-saint holy that any sin of his would get an equally unmerciful treatment. That’s why humility is a virtue.

Well part of this was some hyper-holiness on Moore’s part.

This was an open invitation to hell to do just this. And Moore ought to be very humble about this. If he had such a tryst, but it was legal, he should confess it. Saying also that he does not believe in it now.

To fog over this with the claim “fake news” is to invite Satan to address him in equally cunning terms. This could still wreck the election, apart from the grace of God.

Those who would emphatically bear the banner of holiness need to be as humble as they can be. That includes me! I’ve been through this battle and am still learning.

If he’s guilty and only if he’s guilty, then step aside and let the party sort it out.

I agree with your other sentiments on Post 9 - but regarding "guilty" - guilty of what? Behaviour not becoming a saint when he was an unmarried man, some 30-40 years ago?
Like you, I believe that these accusations are jut slander thrown out by the Media (and GOPe) - but the accusations just seem to be that, once upon a time, some 30-40 years ago - Roy Moore did not act like a perfect gentleman.

Well, saints are also still sinners, till they leave this mortal coil.

Humility, that one can stand to repent until the day one dies, is condign for one who would urge holy conduct.

Before I boosted any Ten Commandments monuments, I’d boost a Cross. Because a people can’t even keep these imperfectly without the sacrificial grace of God. There’s such a thing as being spiritually brittle.

Well, the old British rule over the American colonies was held to be that bad. Hence the American Revolution.

God worked occasional purifications in the Hebrew people, after they began to have kings. Some of the kings worked great reforms. This wouldn’t count as anything democratic as we know it, of course.

For this to happen in America would need a concomitant faith revolution. Some secularists complain that the Constitution didn’t mention God. Well, except it did, in its date. “Year of our Lord.” This would be like complaining that fish never made note of water. Nobody was complaining at that time about “our Lord.” Which is the whole point. This was a theologically energized revolution. Even the Deists were on board here. And there weren’t any atheists as we know them today, in the compact.

The Cheap Labor Express is really desperate to prevent the citizens from stopping them.

It is like they are stuck on stupid with Obama in their heads.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The driving force behind the NeverTrumpers is the 30 year bipartisan policy of open borders/amnesty.
They have been importing the workers for the jobs that can’t be exported and changing the demographics of the country intentionally.
They are stealing our country from us using foreign votes.
Cheap Labor is only one vice out of a whole complex of vices in what is still the “more conservative” party.
Domestic productivity should be the watchword here. Now, overseas labor isn’t utterly in vain. And America does well to urge other countries to think more about being producers too. But for us to become dependent on that is to ask for trouble.
Yes. ““Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”. John Adams ( second USA president)
Alabamans *dogs* are smarter than all those hacks at the Wa Poo Poo.
Running this story says a lot about the prejudice and bias of the media. Not much about Roy though.
And even if Adams didn’t say that, it should be pretty obvious.
To yank the Constitution out of context is to commit a kind of duplicity. If it purposely allowed room for further refinement under a Christian tradition (as in hammering out exactly what should be meant by a prohibition on “cruel and unusual punishment”) that’s one thing. To hold it to uphold as a “right” utterly foreign ideas such as the free and open killing of unborn children, that’s quite another.
But Moore would be wrong if he believed that main force can do a single thing about lapsed faith. It can’t, and the effort even looks silly. A Ten Commandments monument is at best preaching only to choirs. The Moores of the world should be urging evangelists to do their thing.
