On Tuesday's episode of Meet the Press Daily, panelist Yamiche Alcindor and host Chuck Todd incorrectly said Stephen Willeford did not exchange fire with the Texas church shooter or end his attack.
"When I was watching President Trump today, and he was making his argument that [the shooter] was essentially stopped by someone with a gun, I thought he killed himself," Yamiche Alicindor, a national reporter for the New York Times, said. "There was not a big gun fight, and he was not stopped. There needs to be a fact check on how it was stopped."

MSM-Democrats have convinced themselves they drew blood last night, and they’re going to release such an avalanche of lies and vitriol as we haven’t seen yet, even at the peak of the Anti-Trump hysteria back in the spring.
[MSNBC] panelist says, "Stephen Willeford did not exchange fire with the Texas church shooter or end his attack."
The guy saw the gap on the side of his body armor and put the first round right into it. Frickin’ MSNBC if it wasn’t lying it would be dead air.
Lots of false information out there as is the case with stories like this. Listen to the guy’s youtube interview where he explains exactly what went down.
The guy did NOT stop the shooting at the church. The perp had already left the church and was at his car when he was engaged. The guy shot him in the side between the vest plates and might have shot him in the head as he drove off. The guy certainly impeded the perp’s escape and may have saved other lives had the perp got away. He also may have killed him. But he did not save any lives at the church unfortunately as he was too late to do that and it happened pretty fast.
The sheer STUPIDITY of their lies is breathtaking. Stephen Willeford's interview with Crowder is all over the internet, yet the Big Media liars deny the obvious truth. They think they'll get away with it ... can they be stopped?
How does he explain the other 2 bullet holes in the guy. MSNBC magic bullet theory.
Where do they think the 2 extraneous bullet wounds came from?
Did the perp need 3 shots to commit suicide?
The Libs just cannot accept that an armed citizen could have been responsible for the perp ceasing his attack on others.
Had this armed citizen not engaged, what was to prohibit the perp from entering a store or other location and continue his rampage?
“panelist Yamiche Alcindor and host Chuck Todd....”
There’s your problem right there
They don’t have to explain anything to their viewers.
They are in the business of creating a safe-space bubble for their viewers, in which their positions are constantly validated, and any unpleasant truths are ridiculed as lies or ignored.
“Frickin MSNBC if it wasnt lying it would be dead air.”
ANUSs United are all on MSNBC..all candidates for the star chamber...Aw shucks, that was just a movie, dang! LOL...
As he drove, he was BLEEDING OUT and he knew it.
He called his dad and said, “I’ve been shot and I don’t think I’m going to make it..”
His head didn’t explode, but SO WHAT..?
The NRA instructor shot him, probably multiple times, and he died.
I believe it has been fact checked by the Texas authorities, and they support the claim that the killer had been shot at least three times.
Heroic MSNBC panel claims to have stopped Texas church shooter.
Thank God our Nation has a LOT of men and only a miniscule number of idiots with bullhorns.
MSNBC = #FakeNews
They don’t need no steenking investigative reporters, facts, fact checking, truth or ethics of any kind.
He, at least, ended the shooting. The perp may have been ready to go to another church, who knows. I said this today, the 2nd Amendment, a right given by God, is intended to stop tyranny. We think government tyranny first and that is correct. However, this man was a tyrant in a tyrannical mood and so it was time to stop him. The tyranny demonstrated by this man is a microcosm of governments in history. Our Founders knew this instinctively in 1776 and later when the Constitution was ratified. That was BEFORE the history of the past 230 years and all the innocent blood shed since then by tyrants big and small. We are fools to ignore history.
The truth of an NRA member engaging the shooter causing him to drop his rifle and flee, with two wounds, before committing suicide does not fit MSNBC’s concept of how the story should be reported.
The armed citizen is the first responder.
Who’s to say that the shooter wasn’t going back to his vehicle for more ammo and guns to return to the church to kill more? He had more in the truck. We’ll never know but if that was his plan, Willeford stopped that part.
Here’s Willeford’s interview with Crowder;
