Democrats staked an early lead Tuesday night in their bid to control the Washington state Senate and establish single-party reign over the West Coast.

Manka Dhingra, a King County prosecutor, pulled ahead 55% to 45% over Republican Jinyoung Englund, a former congressional aide, in initial returns.

Although Democrats claimed victory, final results in Washington's all-mail election will not be known for several days.

These are all states that voted for Hillary. Nothing to get excited about in spite of the Democrat media hyperventilating over these “great victories.”

Yes but they are wiping out the remains of the Republican party at the state level. That means more support for floods of illegals pouring in, state assistance for them. Resistance to the Feds asking for voter rolls, resistance to deporting them. It means sucking up federal taxes that you and I are paying to support their corrupt, third-world one-party state with no opposition.

It is true that they were Hillary states but we lost conservative seats that have been held for decades. We were slaughtered last night. This was an off-off election. We should have won everything. In 2005, I remember a similar result and then bam, we were crucified in 2006. We have little time to change course. We may be in for heavy seas.

You are correct. If the Dems are motivated and angry, they can wipe us out in the US Congress like they did in 1974 and 2006.

True. Mcconnell needs to start confirming judges every week. We can at least stop some of the madness to come.

I honestly didn’t think the democrats were motivated but they are big time. Making excuses like I am hearing across this board from poster to poster is not showing this reality.

Plus there’s the resource aspect. Single party control by the Dims means these states are going to go down the drain pretty fast. It also means every libby cause from gun control to planned parenthood no longer has to spend much money in the state to push for that to happen.

That money they can now move to the next target state, and double-up the push for ‘action’ there instead.

Every race is a firewall.

If the GOP candidates don’t get out a strong message this country is doomed.

“We have little time to change course. We may be in for heavy seas.”

There’s certainly no time left for half measures. Get Ryan and McConnell out and get some legislative wins on the board. Trump is being left to deliver everything by himself.

“We may be in for heavy seas.”

Why we expect anything else perplexes me. We are up against people energized/controlled by Satan. Roseanne Rosanna-Danica, the trans freak LEGISLATOR?!?!

The “man of lawlessness” is just around the corner, to gather all his willing subjects.

Yep.

Reality is in the perception though and the GOP needs spine to chane the perception.

Instead of spine, we have Sessions, McConnell and Ryan - among man others.

Trump is pretty much the only Republican in Washington with a set of testicles.
