A woman has been savagely assaulted by teenagers wielding bats and wooden planks, amid a rash of similar attacks in Baltimore on Halloween night. Baltimore officials say there were at least four similar attacks in the city's upscale Federal Hill neighborhood on Tuesday night, involving a group of around a dozen young males and females. Cops have not released any description of the suspects, except to say that some appeared as young as 13. 'I feel lucky to be alive. It could have been a lot worse,' the female victim who was beaten and robbed told WMTW.

When I lived in Brooklyn, long ago, I could have imagined myself saying something this stupid.

I remember the “upscale” leftist and monied move-ins of the Federal Hill neighborhood raised cain over plans to put the Maryland State Vietnam War Memorial in their upscale neighborhood so it was relocated elsewhere. Too bad they are suffering gang attacks in Federal Hill; while I feel bad for anyone that is the subject of the attacks and pray for their swift recovery, such as this poor lady, I don’t feel bad that their property values will suffer in the “upscale” neighborhood of Federal Hill, Baltimore.
Were they....domestic black savages?

The FBI stats are staggering when it comes to the black on white vs. white on black violent crime percentage difference. Blacks are orders of magnitude more likely to assault whites. It is tantamount to child abuse to put your white child in a black majority school today.
Note to self: avoid all contact with black persons in numbers greater than one.

I guess. Living the ‘city lifestyle’ is all good and fine if you have a mayor like Rudy or Bloomberg, but your SURVIVAL depends on keeping someone like that in power. This ‘upscale neighborhood’ is about 1 mile south of the center of Baltimore, so it doesn’t take much (as in a shot hop on the light rail) for the locals to hang out there.
And secondly, note that this story is run in British paper. The Baltimore Sun simply REFUSES to publish stories on what is now probably the most dangerous city in the country, due to the fact that they don’t want to ‘stigmatize’ the criminals (if you can believe that)...along with answering to City Hall to try to keep the ‘tourist trade’ alive. So uninformed whites still go to the Inner Harbor, get initiated by the locals, and cannot understand why they never knew how dangerous the area now is. But most make it back without having the daylights beat out of them, so they spend their money and all is ‘just fine’.

Nothing has changed. My very liberal parents thought nothing of my having to attend a 75% majority black high school in the 1960’s.
It was a nightmare. Basically drunken black men trying to beat up anyone who they felt like every day after school. Back then, there were no police officers on the high school campus unless you called them. The only thing that saved me was a turf war between two black neighborhoods which kept the animals busy most of the time.
