People have loved to joke like this for years, and there is a lot of truth to it, but what people don't realize is that the reason the Catholic Church has a problem with priests molesting little boys is because the Catholic Church has had a problem with massive numbers of homosexual men entering the priesthood, and THESE are the ones doing the molesting. Vatican II changed the rules so that admitted homosexuals could be priests as long as they promised to be celibate (har har). It has been reported that some seminaries have attracted so many gay men that they have become damn near bathhouses, and, as is the usual custom, once you have let some homosexuals enter into your organization, the homosexuals then start showing preference for other homosexuals, until the infiltration is so complete that they wield a good portion of the power, and they no longer feel the need to limit or hide their behavior.

Check the dates of the homosexual molestation offenses. Not the dates of exposure, but the dates of the actual offenses.

Vatican II may have made it acceptable for admitted homosexuals to enter seminary, but the problem of homosexuals in the Roman Catholic priesthood goes back at least a thousand yearst, to Saint Peter Damian who documented the extent of the problem then in The Book Of Gomorrah.

And this is what is the most unforgivable by church leaders. They knowingly chose gay men over women or married men. Screw, no pun intended, the Catholic Church. Have no room for Church leaders who are also gay who hate women so intently.
