I imagine they were both hot for Jay Carney, so their disgust for Sarah is understood. Not warranted, just understood.
IMHO If I were Sanders I would read out the name of the paper the passages appeared in, read out the author’s name, read the passages, and then repeat the name of the author and the paper, for both of the quotes. .
Then I would look at the camera and say: this is the left’s continued war on women as perpetuated by the NYT and the LA times.
Now this subject is closed
Then I would begin the press conference.
I would not take any questions or remarks about her statement.
This would put all of those horror shows on notice that they will be called out and NAMED, again and again. That their names will be said. That their papers will be named. For it was not only the writer, but the editors and the entire papers’ editorial board that sent that volley.
Let’s Alinsky them. No more Mr Nice Guys.
