They also probably stopped the shooter’s rampage. They should get some credit for that.
And all of those folks WERE First Responders - and probably saved a few dozen lives in addition to their own.
Yep, Statist police complaining about armed citizens protecting themselves in a deadly situation — cry me a river that your job is more lengthy.
100% Horses***.
Fake news.
Start with the video of the shootings and work your way back.
I wonder how many would have been killed had the gunman not seen a whole bunch of others with guns.
Well if you guys stopped going to the donut shop, you wont be bitching about work you are supposed to do.
That make it sound like that’s a bad thing.
Much rather wait for police to look at video tape than be carried away in an ambulance or hearse.
Great to see responsible citizens protecting themselves and being ready to stop a crime.
I notice they waited until the building was “safe enough to enter”. In other words, they would have waited safely outside until the shooter ran out if ammo. The armed citizens inside were the ONLY first responders worth a damn.
I’m absolutely smelling a big bottle of bee ess here
Color me skeptical. If you have a surveillance video of a shooting, it’s pretty obvious who’s doing it. I do note that nobody who drew a firearm in self defense appears to have started shooting up the place, which is a recurrent myth about guns from people who don’t like them.
Brittie wimp news making fun of decent Americans.
“Ooh, look! It’s ‘e wild west! Don’t see ‘at at ‘ome.”
Full title. Really? So all the shoppers who drew their own guns were shooting at people also? Oh, they weren't, but they still couldn't tell them apart? What BS!
It is the Daily, so the mention of handguns probably caused the author to wet himself.
Everytime I go to Wal-Mart, my Ruger 380 goes inside with me in my pocket.
While....my 30 shot Ruger 9mm stays in the truck.
These trouble-makers know they should have lay down spread-eagled and hope the bad guy had a good heart.
The police were almost certain to be there before every last one of them was killed. Or shortly thereafter, no question.
Very selfish of them, these gun nuts, most Coloradans would agree. Especially the ones who never set foot in a Walmart.
They’re using this as an excuse for their sitting outside doing nothing for hours.
and yet they still managed to capture the shooter in 10 hrs.
I am not interested in whether or not the police were inconvenienced in investigating a crime. The simple fact is that all of these individuals had a right to carry the means of defending themselves and their families, and the fact that they did so likely saved lives.
In view of that, I don’t give a rat’s ass that the cops out there will have to have Dunkin’ Donuts deliver their meals, rather than them being able to leave the office and go to the drive-through.
