Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl was freed by the Taliban over the weekend after they held him for nearly five years, in exchange for five Taliban leaders, who will spend a year cooling their heels in Qatar. You might have heard about it on the news.
Chances are you havent heard of the six soldiers who died hunting for him after he went missing, according to military officials. Now that Bergdahl has been sprungin exchange for five senior Taliban officials, who had been imprisoned at Guantanamosoldiers who served with Bergdahl are grumbling that he deserted and shouldnt be hailed as a hero, especially given the resulting cost in American lives.

yes, this article is from 2014
Posting this, well, just because it seems Time..
I’m not seeing much mention in the enemedia about fatalities today.
Sure would be sad if Bergdahl just dropped dead from a mysterious case of lead poisoning.
Look over your shoulder often...
DJT needs to ask for the resignation of the military judge, and the prosecutors if they did not present this for sentencing.....and send a message to the JAG corps.
According to some, “They knew what they signed up for.” Getting killed looking for some assclown that deserted his post is just part of the game. Right? Ya think bow has any guilt feelings over it? Like I said earlier, from a firing squad offense to a yawn and a $10,000 fine. Anyone think his dishonorable discharge will affect him? Check for weapons.
Why have they not been mentioned during this trial? What an insult to their sacrifices for this POS.
8 dead
22 wounded
"Revealed: Hunt for Bowe Bergdahl left troops unprotected in infamous Afghan battle that left EIGHT U.S. soldiers dead and 22 wounded and produced two Medal of Honor recipients"
'Those guys didn't have the complete support they needed ... because all the assets and everything were diverted to us,' a member of Bergdahl's platoon said

I believe the stories about the fatalities have already been debunked — or at least seriously undermined.
So it was indirect? Makes no difference to me. Unit readiness was compromised by Bergdahl’s desertion, and soldiers died.
I was reading that a commander there stated the six were killed after the 45 day all out search ended, but that two were seriously wounded during the search(one shot in the head and one lost his leg).
The biggest lesson to be learned here is that it's high time for Americans to get over their pathological faith in a government that has no problem sending them to fight alongside people they don't even know in military campaigns in every Third World sh!t-hole on the planet.

The prosecutors in the Bergdahl case were asking for a 14-year prison sentence. If he was responsible for the loss of even one U.S. soldier — let alone a half-dozen or more — then why weren’t they demanding a life sentence?
May the Lord bring the Justice of “Cain” on Bergdahl.... for this great loss of life he’s responsible for.
'I felt like I was in immediate danger all the time' after Bergdahl left, Sutton said. 'All of us did. We were sent out for about 30 to 35 days straight looking for him.'
'And there were plenty of other people. I mean, the complete 501st [Infantry Regiment] was pulled out of there to search.'
'People lost resources that were in the Korengal Valley,' Sutton continued, before bringing up the name 'Clint Romesha' and the battle that raged at COP Keating.
'Those guys didn't have the complete support they needed at the time,' he said, 'because all the assets and everything were diverted to us.'
That redistribution of military men and materiel was par for the course after Bergdahl vanished.
'All units up and down the border in eastern Afghanistan were tasked with the Bergdahl hunt,' a Middle East expert who was in-country repeatedly during the U.S. fighting there told MailOnline.
He would have never lived if sent to prison.....I suspect they figured he’s got a better chance of life outside, though he’ll live always looking over his shoulder.....I have to give this some more thought but he’ll have zero protection outside on his own. I suspect some of our good soldiers know exactly what to do to make any life he has pretty miserable.
When President Obama presented the Medal of Honor to Carter, he described the attack that left American personnel dead.
‘Fifty-three American soldiers were suddenly surrounded by more than 300 Taliban fighters,’ the president said at the White House on August 26, 2013. ‘The outpost was being slammed from every direction machine gunfire, rocket-propelled grenades, mortars, sniper fire. It was chaos the blizzard of bullets and steel.’
Obama didn’t mention why help was late in coming that day, but the Pentagon official who spoke with MailOnline filled in the gaps. In particular, air support which arrived late at COP Keating was lacking on the front lines. ‘The shortage was helicopters. If you direct all helicopters into a search you cut off the forward operating bases.’
I am having a difficult time understanding why we are not seeing a public execution.
