Americans oppose Donald Trump’s emerging tax plan by broad a 17-point margin, with 60 percent saying it favors the wealthy -– including six in 10 of the wealthy themselves.

As details –- albeit still scarce -– have emerged, support and opposition have grown essentially in tandem. Fifty percent in this ABC News/Washington Post poll oppose the plan, up 6 percentage points from September; 33 percent support it, up 5 points. The rest, 17 percent, are undecided.

The left wing media has done since the 1960s.

Presented biased reporting and then run “polls” which confirm that the biased reporting is working.

I was listening to NPR this morning driving to the local Lowes, and they were burning up the airwaves with rants about how this tax plan will be nothing more than a cut for the very rich to be paid for by the middle class.

It will definitely benefit the wealthy - and the middle class as well (both from better job prospects, increased net wealth from rising stock market, and 80% with better taxes than previously)

On the eve of the 2016 election, a Washington Post-ABC News Tracking Poll had Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton at a four-point advantage over Trump, with 47 percent to 43 percent.

Ok fine. It’s apparent to me that democrats don’t want a tax cut and tax reform so I say write the bill for just registered republicans and independents. Any democrat CEO’s continue to pay a 35% corporate tax for their business. All others drop to 20%.

The ABC/Washington Post poll is a high-quality poll, but it’s the only one showing such a dramatic change in the last week. It’s very unlikely that voter preferences have changed by 13 points in 8 days. For example, the IBD/TIPP tracking poll, which favored Trump in its debut, has held steady, with Clinton leading by 1-4 points over the past week. All other national polls in the past week have shown Clinton leading by 1-7 points.

The HuffPost presidential forecast gives Clinton a 98 percent chance of winning. That runs counter to the narrative that polls are closing in and is very different from other forecast models...

OK ABC, Lat’s see your polling data! What was the income level of those you polled. What is the employment level? what is the Education level?

That data will prove your statement almost believable or totally crap.

Trump’s family will benefit big time. If the Death Tax is rescinded the family will make out. I often think that’s one reason why he ran.

Way over 60% of the public doesn’t understand statistics.

About 6 years ago I closely followed an “internet debate” on whether Obama or Bush raised the debt “the most”. People were crazy defending their side without a clue what they were talking about (just repeating what they read). Early the first day, it was obvious that Bush raised more by %, while Obama raised more by $$$$. Both sides were RIGHT and had the math to support their argument.

It wasn’t until the 3rd day someone convinced “the internet” that both sides were correct in their math. And both side immediately declared that their math was “the right way” (% or $).

Of course the Ds who declared % was the right measurement then will now say that $ is the proper way of determining who gets the biggest tax break now. (and Rs the other way).

Anyone who doesn’t understand the math is easy to persuade. That’s a big reason school should teach math even if “I’ll never use it in real life”. Everyone uses it or gets fooled. And people who want to fool the population don’t want the public to understand fairly simple math.

The poll is fake of course because the fake news media wants the results. Having said that the tax plan is a scam to raise taxes on two earner middle class families to give a permanent tax break to corporations, the controllers of ryan, brady and mcconnel and the gop establishment.
