We elected President Trump to be the take charge boss he is very capable of but he’s starting to disappoint us like keeping Sessions or having his son- in- law Kushner as adviser.

What prior involvement in the Uranium One deal did Jeff Sessions have? Wouldn’t that be the reason an AG would give to justify his recusal?

I think Trump needs to sit Jeff Sessions down and ask him if there are many more recusals in his future. Because, if there are, he should consider offering his resignation.

You guys are totally missing the whole point TRUMP is at fault here as all he has to do is ask for his Sessions resignation...The question should be WHY hasn’t Trump done so?

No, you missed the real point. Don't you recall that Graham and other senators threatened President Trump if he fired Sessions? Threatened him with impeachment. Don't you think that POS Paul Ryan is just salivating for a reason to start impeachment hearings? Yep.

How many battles do you folks want the president to fight basically alone? The Swamp moved immediately after the election to tie President Trump's hands as much as possible. They have been wildly successful at doing so. The whole sequence of events that led to Mueller stinks to high heaven and yet the country seems to be stuck with him. As for Sessions, he is a Trojan horse. Was right from the get-go.

He cant replace Sessions now because he will never get a hardliner AG approved by the feckless Senate. He needs to wait for a recess then fire Sessions and make a recess appointment. It wont last long, bit long enough to appoint a SP.

Yeh you mean the worthless Senate doing an investigation? Don’t expect much from those spineless backscratchers.

“I am thinking now that Jeff Sessions is complicit in the dealings with Russia and the Uranium deal and may very well have benefited from some dealings here.”

There is nothing else we can conclude from this. Sessions seems to be saying that he was involved. I think he needs to issue a public statement explaining his involvement.

This is a major failure of law enforcement. The Justice Department refuses to engage in an investigation. It’s as if the New England Patriots forfeited the Superbowl by simply refusing to play.

Why would he? This has nothing to do with the Mueller Russia investigation, in which he may be implicated for meeting with Russian officials during the campaign. I say MAY be, since his meetings were probably innocent.

Jeff Sessions is a wuss. He should be replaced with a real prosecutor. I told Trump as much on Twatter.

“I really feel someone has something on Sessions.”

So what? If he has a skeleton in his closet, he just needs to bite the bullet, and own up to it in front of God and everyone. Then do his job or leave in shame. What’s more important — his pride or the future of America? Our Founding Fathers put America ahead of their own lives. Is Sessions better than they are?

I’m guessing he’s working for himself and like-minded elites; by not investigating people from past administrations, he’s ensuring that he himself, as well as other current officials, won’t be investigated by a future administration. Apparently a long-standing tradition.

There’s an obvious solution to the “Sessions Problem” — appoint a deputy who will wield all the power of the office and cut Jeff Sessions out of the loop. Make him, in effect, a figurehead AG. It’s done everyday in the business world and I’m sure the Trump has done it a time or two.

Next time Sessions recuses, then the deputy gets to make the decision. The job gets done and Paul Ryan can go pound sand.

Read my post, dude.

If Fusion GPS is under investigation for matters related to the 2016 campaign and Sessions recused himself over these things over a conflict of interest, then he can't discuss the matter -- period. Doing so might jeopardize any legal proceedings against Fusion GPS.

Why are you trying to undermine the investigation of Fusion GPS, Marvin?

Sessions spent all of 20 seconds on the entire Uranium One subject when testifying before Grassley’s committee. He said he was leaving any decision on whether it be investigated up to Rosenstein, who of course appears completely conflicted as he was in charge of the original investigation. Grassley just moved on without further comment.

Sessions has apparently recused himself from all things related to Hillary, not just the election. And Trump may have a master plan, but his constant Twitter whines about Sessions ultimately make him look weak. He should have pulled the trigger on some of these bozos when Mueller’s indictments came up unrelated to the campaign.

Nobody could be charged with treason even if it turns out that everyone involved in the Uranium One case sold 100% of our uranium assets to Russia for a pile of cash.

Despite all the tiresome blathering by the political class in Washington, Russia is not an enemy of the United States by any legal definition.

Trump should have fired ALL Obama appoitees day one but was advised otherwise by an adviser.

Session should resign after the appointees are fired.
