Sorry. That still won’t work. The word “shrine” has a religious connotation, and that might offend some atheist somewhere.

Better to scrap the whole thing and just go with: “Oh, North Carolina. You are a state. Oh, North Carolina.”

Nope that won't work for me. I'm a Southerner and I am deeply Offended at the word "North". What the North did to my ancestors was nothing short of genocide. No state should be allowed to have that word in their name.
