OAK HILL - An investigation is underway in Fayette County, West Virginia after heroin was found in a child's trick-or-treat bag.
Oak Hill Police Chief Mike Whisman says it allegedly happened in the Hidden Valley area.
He said several hundred children trick-or-treat in this area every Halloween.
The child's mother said he was checking her three-year-old's candy when she found the drugs wrapped in a rubber glove.

I wonder if maybe it is opium.
An undisclosed amount of H wrapped in a disposable glove is found in a 3 year old’s bag. It seems an odd delivery method for malicious intent. But prints from the glove should be revealing.
I knew heroin had gotten relatively cheap but I didnt think that anyone would be giving it away.
Heard from some folks who work with people suffering from substance abuse the going rate for a dose of heroin is $5.00.
Send a kid out with $20 to buy beer or H, and guess what’s easier to get? The one selling in the unregulated, unrestricted free market — H.
I didn’t really believe it at first, but as I thought about it, it made sense.
Pure heroin is white, but poorly made will be black or brown, hence the name black tar.
Is there some junkie trying to melt a fun size Milky Way to shoot into his vein right now?
My money is on fake BS news.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

The Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin is demanding answers after a mystery person allegedly dropped a small package of crystal meth into a Wisconsin toddlers trick-or-treat bag over the weekend.
Menominee Tribal Police Chief Mark Waukau told ABC News the toddlers father found the questionable bag at a community event they were attending on Sunday.
The father alerted the police after pulling out a small baggie with yellow powder inside it, Waukau said.
The father was going through the candy and he finds a really small clear plastic packet like the size of a quarter, Waukau said.
The family had attended the tribes annual Halloween trick-or-treating event in Keshena, Wisconsin, alongside several other families to go house-to house-with parents to collect sweets, Waukau said.
I think people are pretty upset, he went on. Thats what we want. We want people to get upset and come forward and give us information. Were already getting tips.
When the substance was field tested, it was proven the yellow powder was methamphetamine.
We thought it looked a lot like Pop Rocks candy in that little baggie, Waukau said. ...

She was the one who called the police. But I guess it still could have belonged to someone else in the home.
From the article...
