It would be laughable if it weren’t so infuriating . . . Every time there is an Islamic terror attack, someone in the liberal media will claim that it is not really Islamic.
And so Chris Matthews’ MSNBC show rolled out Malcolm Nance, it’s “terrorism analyst,” this evening to comment on the murderous attack in NYC today. And sure enough:
“What you’re seeing is not Islam, whatsoever . . . None of that is Islamic. It’s anti-Islamic.”

The terrorist is apparently a Chechen, and we all know the Russians are Orthodox Christians. He was alleged to have screamed something like “Aloha Snackbar!” - a clear Hawaiian phrase. Why would anyone think this was connected to the Religion of Peace?

Years ago I read an online article by some nut who claimed that the death camps did not represent Nazism. Hitler was swell, the author wrote, and so were his ideas. But underlings (”lone wolfs” in today’s lingo) perverted Nazism and set up the death camps.
This Malcolm Nance is just like that Nazi author. No one took the Nazi author seriously. But plenty of folks will take Nance seriously.
