Most all Home Depot stores rent out trucks. They are usually so folks can buy materials that are too big for cars. But you can rent them for any reason.

NBC is reporting that the loser came out of the Home Depot rent-a-pickup with a “simulated gun” and all the real shots came from the cops.

Suspect drove on the bike path for 14 blocks!

A school bus driver used the bus he was operating to block the perp's path at one point.

Perp got off the west highway onto the bike path, got back on the west highway, then got back off the highway and back onto the bike path where most of the injuries or fatalities took place.

Possibly 6 fatalities and 11 injured.

Not likely imo. But it's probably tax effective to buy new and turn in the old; who knows if it would get painted over? I figured an employee but HD wouldn't want the negative publicity. The market is closed but the stock price could take a hit regardless.

Reporting in Chicago says 6 are dead in NYC. Gunman in custody. Some were run over, others were shot. Seems to be much confusion in the reporting still.
