t’s Time to Admit That Allowing Men Into the Workplace Was a Mistake
Slate ^ | October 27, 2017 | Ruth Graham

American men entered the workforce in unprecedented numbers as they returned from World War II, and employers welcomed these men as a matter of patriotic duty. Many men proved to be diligent, competent professionals over the ensuing decades. Sadly, however, many did not. The cascade of recent revelations of male workers abusing co-workers, threatening subordinates, and masturbating into potted plants leaves only one conclusion: The long experiment of having men in the workplace has failed.

You know who hates working with women more than men? Other women.

Clearly satire brought about by too many “that’s what you get when you allow women to...” comments from men. It should be amended of course to not all men but principally liberal Democrats. With a few minor exceptions, the truly horrifying sex scandals are all about Dems: The Kennedys, Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein, Anthony Weiner, Bill Cosby, etc.

Of course, if you banned all liberal Democrats from the workplace, you might have better workplaces but what do you do with all those liberal Democrats? The prisons can’t hold them all.

Ditto.

I would just assume to avoid another female supervisor if I can help it.

After my experience, I am a tad more cautious about people.

Yeah, I get that this is supposed to be some sort of satire, but too many of the tools who read Slate will take it seriously. Reality is that the modern world and the technology that makes it possible - the pavement we drive on, the houses we live in, the electricity we use, the water that gets pumped into our houses, the Internet that we post silly articles on - all of it was created by men. Without the world that men created, women would back in caves.

LOL!

We wouldn’t have a workplace if it wasn’t for men. We’d still be starving in grass huts.

When I lived in Hawaii, some guys I worked with who went for vasectomies were sent by the doctor to a nearby motel to “produce material”. The name of the motel was “The **** Palms”.

Women loved Mad Men. The show ran for years. Everyone had an affair and everyone engaged in workplace sex.

Democrats didn’t want to have this discussion about inappropriate behavior in the workplace when Bill Clinton was masturbating into a sink off the Oval Office to “finish off” after his affair with his subordinate mistress(es) while being investigated for prior offenses of workplace sexual harassment.

I second that response! I found out where she had errored in when she made me work all weekend (when she found out I had something fun to do) on getting a few budgets done by Monday morning. After bringing all the journal entries to her to correct her errors, she quietly worked with her boss to have me FIRED that Friday afternoon. I was one in her firing mill. She got upset that I had a job three days later!! Sometimes I want to thank her (which would really upset her...for as the firing lead to my first marriage and many awesome friends!!

With that, I have to say that one of my favorite bosses and great friend was a happy thin younger lady! Still, good women bosses are few and far between.

That's funny, because Reagan said the same thing about women! (I guess we need each other!)

But feminists (predictably) attacked him for it for being condescending.

Reagan once said that historically women were responsible for civilizing men, and that were it not for the female influence, men might still be living in caves and running around in skin tights carrying clubs. Feminists were suitably appalled, (from Dinesh D'Souza's book "Ronald Reagan")

LOL! I didn’t know he said that. Indeed, we do need each other but the sexes have forgotten that, haven’t they?
