Glenn Beck and his TV network have reached a settlement with the father of an Irving teen made famous when he was arrested in 2015 after bringing a homemade clock to school.
The undisclosed settlement comes in the wake of recent appeals by Mohamed Mohamed and his son, Ahmed, of a Dallas trial judge's dismissal earlier this year of their libel claims against Beck, The Blaze and commentators Jim Hanson and Ben Shapiro, the legal news service Law360 reported.

Hard one to choose sides on this one. However I slightly flavor Glenn and Company but not by much.

The staggering stupidity of choosing such a stupid, redundant name is breath-taking. Only a culture that enforces female illiteracy, high degrees of consanguinity, and a religion that keeps people, essentially, in the stone age could fail to see the idiocy of that.
Maybe Beck can no longer afford to keep them battling.

Clock Boy and family already lost in a lower court, I'm guessing the "settlement" was simply, "You drop your appeal Clockboy and we'll write off the quarter million you already owe us in court costs..."
Now writing off a quarter million might seem like a sweetheart deal, but now that the family has left the country, Beck and crew would probably never seen any of the money anyway, so might as well write it off.
Beck had to pay for his own lawyers and somebody was paying fir the kid’s lawyers, because there was no way the family was paying for it.
Based on the article, clock boy’s father ended up paying.
Justice was not done. The extortion was planned, and with the help of bammy was carried out.
