Taking bets... It could get complicated if the nature of the work being done shifted when the DNC picked up the project. There is nothing wrong with legitimate opposition research. But what Fusion did appears to have gone well beyond the boundaries of legitimacy. So: when did Fusion go rogue? From the beginning? Or later?
