Celebrities Make It Official: Pick Trump or Us
HOLLYWOOD IN TOTO ^ | 10/15/2017 | Christian Toto

Two prominent stars say what many Hollywood dwellers have been hinting at since Nov. 8, 2016.

For a while one message rang out from Team Hollywood in the Age of Trump. The industry didn’t want you as a customer if you wear a red MAGA hat.

Oh, celebrities didn’t actually mouth those words. Instead, they embedded their disgust for both President Donald Trump and his admirers in nearly everything they did.

- Movies. - TV shows - Late night monologues. - PSAs - Press interviews - Social media

We got the message, even if they didn’t actually say it.

Denver audiences heard it loud and clear when liberal comic George Lopez appeared at the Carousel Ball Oct. 7. The diabetes fundraiser hired Lopez to be the emcee and he quickly launched into some presidential barbs. Trump-friendly booster Greg Maffei of Liberty Media dropped $250,000 toward the cause while asking Lopez to cut the political barbs.

Lopez ignored the request. The booing commenced.Local media personality Ed Greene took over for Lopez as the night’s emcee but not before the comic spat out lines like this:

“Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men, but it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men,” Lopez cracked. “Listen, it’s about the kids . . . I apologize for bringing politics to an event. This is America — it still is. So I apologize to your white privilege.”

He might as well have said, “if you like Trump, I don’t want you in my crowd.”

Now, two stars are literally saying just that.

I didn’t think I could hate Hollywood morons any more than I already do, but after reading that I’ve turned it up to 11.

LOL. A caption from a story on Big Hollywood:

Michael Fassbender is detective Harry Hole in The Snowman (2017, Universal Pictures).

Harry Hole? Seriously? Nobody thought to change that? Or, maybe they did and the character was original Hirsute Sphincter.

All of this phony Leftist outrage conjures the image of a flounder at the end of a skin diver’s spear...death throes.

Harry Hole? Seriously?

Well, the actor's name should be Michael F'assbender. Maybe it was, and he dropped the apostrophe.

For those who don’t want to click, named at the site are Seth Meyers and Eminem. I could choose to walk away from them, but I’ve never had a single thing to do with either ever anyway.

Wow how terribly brave of them, considering the fact that their fan base probably never voted for Tump to begin with. Ya can't effect Eminem, but Myers, now that's where you can put pressure on his shows advertisers and that'll squeeze his self important little ass.

Way ahead of these Aholes. Do not want anything to do with this cancer on our Constitutional Republic. I do not want anything to do with them and anyone who advertises on them.

I stay local/generic as much as possible. Cable tv free since 2007.

I think that we’ve already seen what is next. Some of the liberals are not sufficiently radical and will be ostracized and condemned — as per the French Revolution.

It is kind of hard getting ‘upset’ or boycotting something or someone you not only have never heard of but don’t care about anyway..

The old ‘if a tree falls in the forest and no one around does it make a noise’ comes to mind, but it has been modernized for the snowflakes

If a Liberal says something and no one is around, does it still sound idiotic?

I apologize for bringing politics to an event. This is America — it still is. So I apologize to your white privilege.”

I am really getting tired of this term because I don’t know what it means.

I’ve never experienced this privilege.

I have worked for everything I have. When I screwed up I got punished.

I grew up in a lower middle-class neighborhood with mixed races.

I walked to school with black and Mexican kids. My high school had kids of just about every race and some mixed race.

The only kids with privilege in that school I ever saw were the athletes. They could get away with just about anything and race didn’t matter. For anyone else it was do the work and you’ll get by.

Even if a person of a minority race is suffering discrimination they do themselves and their race no favor in griping about it. The greatest revenge is success. Work hard to improve yourself and overcome the obstacles in your path. Then look back with justifiable pride.

Jews have been discriminated against pretty much everywhere and yet they are some of the most successful people in this country. Why? Because there are intelligent hard working people.

Jewish mothers are famous for two things. The first is laying guilt trips on their kids. The second is making their kids work hard at their studies so they can be successful and get good jobs.

I have said for years that what black kids need is Jewish mothers.

Geriatric rocker Todd Rundgren already spewed this one. It isn’t any more impressive from these guys.

The name “Harry Hole” comes from a seven book series about a police detective in Oslo, Norway.

I assumed “Hole” was a real Norwegian name, but you may be right, and it’s just a viciously sarcastic name that other cops or suspects call him.

Are you with us or against us?—Your call.

Boycott Hollywood. Watch the BBC.

Watching the Dr.Blake mysteries now. And waiting for the next season of Sherlock Holmes.

I’d say based on this year’s dismal box office results, that a lot or people have already chosen Trump.
