This is ridiculous corruption. There is obviously no need to fly Afghans all the way to the US for training. Some Americans are making money off of this.
While I am not saying this is not a problem, it has been happening for years. Officer from Muslim countries think they are superior to their infidel trainers. So when they attend Military schools here, they do what they want. Saw it first hand with Saudi and Iraqi Officers at Fort Leonard Wood. They don’t show up for a few days. Turns out they went to KC or St. Louis.
