We know Hollywood moguls are infamous for taking advantage of aspiring young actresses.
The movie producer's casting couch has been a "tradition" since Tinsel Town began.
But Harvey Weinstein must be setting some kind of record. His sexual rap sheet gets longer every day.
Since the New York Times broke the stories about his serial misconduct earlier this month, more than 40 actresses, studio workers and models have come forward to accuse the powerful producer of everything from sexual harassment to rape.
Now the L.A. Times is reporting that the LAPD is investigating charges by an Italian model-actress that Weinstein raped her in 2013 - within the statute of limitations.
She's the sixth woman to accuse Weinstein of rape or forcible sex acts. Over the years eight others reportedly received civil settlements from Weinstein's movie company.
What a charming guy.
I feel for all these women who are coming out and telling the world what sex acts Weinstein allegedly did to them or in front of them when their dreams and careers were at his mercy.
It takes courage for those women to admit that they too were humiliated, abused and taken advantage of by an A-list Hollywood slimeball.
But everyone knows Weinstein isn't the only powerful producer or director in Hollywood who regularly expected sex in exchange for making someone a movie star.
There are other Weinsteins, and lots of people in the film community know exactly who they are.
Actresses and actors warn their friends to watch out for Producer X or Director Y, but they never make their names public. They should.
Instead of merely tweeting "Me too," the women who say they have been sexually harassed and assaulted in Hollywood (and everywhere else) need to start naming names.
This could be a chance for women in Hollywood to put a stop to the casting couch culture Weinstein took full advantage of for three decades.
Times have changed. Women are listened to now when they report sexual misconduct by their bosses or colleagues.
They're protected by harassment laws and supported by the media. They're no longer shamed publicly for revealing that they have been victims of sexual predators in the workplace.
In the end, Hollywood is all about money. You can even be an open conservative Republican in Hollywood -as long as Hollywood is making money off you.
It's the same with top actresses - the A-listers. They make a lot of money for Hollywood, so they have power to change things.
A-list actresses need to join together and start naming the names of the other Weinsteins.
That way they can protect the B-listers and the future young stars, girls and boys, from becoming new victims of an immoral and rotten culture that has been tolerated in Hollywood for way too long.
His new roommate, Bubba, is going to show him the ropes.
Even if he goes to prison, he can afford to buy the very best protection from his fellow inmates. I don’t think he’ll have any problems from other inmates.

If Hillary had become president, would we be hearing about these Hollywood scandals? We know we would not. So here’s a dilemma for the libs: one good thing that Trump has done in regard to this Weinstein (and growing) scandal is to have been president at this time so that countless young women may have been spared further degradation because this wasn’t swept under any rug. Now liberals really won’t like this idea. I would love to see them struggle with this contradiction, heads exploding.
He won’t go to prison.
He has too much capital and too many “freinds”.
He will go to Europe, instead.
However.............. The establisment media is crashing.
and..Donald Trump *is* President
Only honest liberals worry about the evil consequences to individuals.
Those liberals eventually become conservatives or libertarians.
The rest gleefully rationalize continent wide genocide in the hope of some future utopia.
There are a lot of accusers. Many are surely legitimate. Some, and more as time goes by, will be folks looking for a payday, lawyers who investigate and find non wealthy women who were in the same restaurant with him once.

Our allies are so thoughtful and enlightened:
Italian movie actress and director Asia Argento is facing pushback in her home country after speaking out about an alleged rape at the hands of disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. While Argentos courage in speaking about what happened to her was praised in Hollywood, and helped encourage at least 40 women to speak out about their own experiences of assault at the hands of Weinstein, public opinion in Italy has sided more with Weinstein than with Argento, according to Quartzs Annalisa Merelli.Merelli points out that the opinion writers have been remarkably bold in their condemnation of Argento and other actresses speaking out against sexual assault former journalist and MP Renato Farina, for instance, has suggested that the assaults described by actresses are prostitution, not rape. Vittorio Feltri, editor in chief of Libero, a right wing populist newspaper, said that since Weinstein didnt physically harm Argento that the sex must have been consensual and that, if anything, Argento should be thankful to Weinstein for forcibly performing oral sex on her. Politician Vittorio Sgarbi went still further, arguing that Weinstein was actually assaulted by her. Prominent Italian women have targeted Argento as well, questioning why she didnt speak out earlier about the rape or claiming that she deserved what happened to her since she willingly visited Weinstein in his hotel room.
In wake of the public outcry against her, Argento has said that she is leaving Italy for Germany to escape the climate of tension and victim blaming. Italy, Argento said, is far behind the rest of the world in its view of women.
(Hat-tip: Instapundit.) Every American woman Ive known who has traveled in Europe has talked about how different attitudes are there. Especially in France and Italy, women report that the cat-calling is horrific. In fact, if you pay attention to complaints about cat-calling in America, youll notice that the problem has an ethnic aspect. When a video of a woman being harassed on the streets of New York went viral in 2014, nearly all the harassers were black or Latino. This resulted in a discussion among feminists of whether complaining about cat-calling is racist. This is how intersectionality works: Only white men are to blame for sexism and only American white men, because every American liberal believes Europe is better than America.

Comment worth repeating:
"Gee, I wonder if this explains why the "migrant" rape gangsters thought what they were doing wouldn't get any legal pushback?-McGehee"
Re: If Hillary had become president, would we be hearing about these Hollywood scandals?
Great point!
I think a lot here at FR would dispute this. Yes there is a very small contingent of openly conservative Republicans working today but they are almost fringe players to the large leftist bulk known as Hollyweird today. Whenever a celeb opines a conservative opinion we caution that their career may be over.
And meanwhile the Left is always telling us that we should be more like Europeans.
All of these libs coming out of the woodwork to claim how awful it is, but where were they when Bill Clinton was doing this in the OVAL OFFICE?
A few chuckles for the day:
Yeah, where were they? Missing and uninterested.
Harvey is not going to prison.
He will be producing movies within 18 months, and will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award (to a standing ovation) within three years.
And “THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT!”
For these A list actresses to come forward and name names would be admitting they didn’t make it to the A list on their talent.
But the real reason they won’t name names is they now have power over the “powers”. By not naming names they eliminate future competition. I predict a lot of over the hill actresses will be experiencing incredible come backs and be cast in some starring roles in the near future..
He can room mate with Roman Polanski.
Tim Allen’s show Last Man Standing was cancelled because of his anti left statements.
I believe the actress who played the oldest daughter may have been replaced for reasons other than what was reported.
