The mother of Trayvon Martin criticized the National Rifle Associations decision to offer people insurance if they fatally shoot someone in a new ad.
Sybrina Fulton, Martins mother, starred in a nearly two-minute clip from gun control group Guns Down, calling on people to take a stand against two companies backing the NRAs carry guard insurance.
They spend millions lobbying for laws that allow them to shoot first and stand their ground. But that just makes it easier to get away with murder, Fulton says in the clip. Now theyre selling insurance that covers the cost when a gun owner kills someone and claims self-defense.
The Carry Guard insurance, created by the NRA and backed by Chubb and Lockton Affinity, is a form of insurance for legal gun carriers in case they kill someone. The NRA offers four different plans: bronze, silver, gold and gold plus.
The highest level, Gold Plus, provides gun carriers with $1.5 million in civil protection and $250,000 in criminal defense.
Tell them that if they keep offering murder insurance theyll never get your business, Fulton adds in the video. George Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot her son, was cleared of second degree murder based off the states State Your Ground law.
A Chubb spokesperson noted that the company only offers insurance for lawful activity.
Our insurance policies protect customers engaged in many kinds of economic, social and personal activity, all of which must be lawful. We respect the diverse views of our customers on many issues, the statement read. The Carry Guard insurance program underwritten by Westchester, a Chubb company, addresses the personal liability risks of lawfully possessing and carrying a firearm as well as lawful activity.
The NRA and Lockton did not return The Daily Caller News Foundation request for comment in time for publication.

Sabrina Fulton is EXACTLY the reason that the NRA offers “self defense insurance”.
She should have taught her son not to jump someone in the dark. Chances are good that a prudent citizen in that area would be armed.
“Fulton adds in the video. George Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot her son, was cleared of second degree murder based off the states Stand Your Ground law.”
They won’t ever stop repeating this lie.
Bet George wishes he’d had some.
What she doesn’t realize is that the insurance is much needed to defend people who have had to protect themselves from attacks by scumbags like her son.
It is needed to defend those same people from scumbags like her.
Huh? I thought he was protecting a bus full of little choir girls from the evil white mexican pervert. No?
Yes, he spent a quarter hour trying to beat that into the bus drivers head.
Ms Fulbright needs to have her head pounded into the pavement like her worthless POS son did to Zimmerman to begin to understand “stand your ground”
Until them Shut up...
Remember right after his death one of the family members printed out a whole bunch of Trayvont-shirts and was selling them for cash on the street:
I guess she didn’t cut the others in on the action so they showed up and there was a huge fist fight in the middle of the street with the police coming.
Total pandemonium.
that family has an illness, it really showed you how Trayvon could end up the way that he became in adolescence.
still trying to appear relevant...
Because everyone should take seriously anything said by the mother of a thieving, murdering feral.
If you Welfare Broodmares spent half as much energy raising your feral thugs as naming them there’d be a lot less shooting necessary.
0% chance the black community will hear her message and put the guns down. Therefore, 0% chance I care what she thinks.
Too bad no one shot her.
Im glad hes dead. Filthy feral.
The Mom who raised a thug through very poor parenting?
A split second the other way and it would be Zimmerman dead by St. Skittle’s hand. What would be her stance then?
I thought the gun grabbers wanted to make insurance mandatory.
Someone needs to get her talking points straight.
