WASHINGTON -- US President Donald Trump wants a diplomatic solution to the nuclear standoff with North Korea and will continue to work on it "until the first bomb drops," his top diplomat said Sunday.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson made the remark in an interview on CNN as tensions have heightened over North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

"He has made it clear to me to continue my diplomatic efforts," Tillerson said. "Those diplomatic efforts will continue until the first bomb drops."

Why is this news? Everyone wants a diplomatic solution to everything. Liberals refuse to believe that sometimes that’s just not possible.

Problem is, the entire North Korean “system” is unsustainable unless they blackmail someone. Taking out 1, or even 20 people at the top doesn’t fix the underlying nightmare. In a very(!) general sense it’s sort of like Iraq, but worse.

I’m going out on a limb in thinking that any American in NK is going to draw some attention.

You would need a Korean sniper, and that dude is going to die and would have to accept that.

So, world-class Korean sniper willing to take on a suicide mission to kill a guy in the hopes that something would change maybe......

Doesn’t get any clearer than that...
