30 and 45 year-old men are not supposed to have room mates. This is another screwed up trend of our time. Even if you have to live in a box you don’t have a room mate. Grow up.
When I got out of the military, I insisted on my own place. I had had quite enough of barracks life, with farting butt-scratching men in t-shirts all around. I rented a tiny run-down apartment for a while until I got myself on my financial feet but no way was I taking on a roommate!
