BTTT
Now, they just scalp palefaces at the casinos.
I’ve studied the Indian Wars for decades; it has been a passion of mine ever since I was a kid.
The Indians were sadistic savages, towards other tribes and towards the hated Americans and the utterly despised Mexicans. The Indians reveled in the torture and debasement of captives; they saw it as entertainment.
If you ever have a chance, read “The Wild Frontier” by William M. Osborn. It will put to rest any fiction about “the Noble Red Man.”
Danusha V. Goska says, “All Injuns, same thing!” Another episode of Soviets Vs. Troglodytes. ;-)
Comanches were desert Indians like Apaches, many of them in Mexico.
People who identify as Americans don’t care much about concerns of Eurasian identity or American Indian identity.
Seems to me I recall something about the tragedy of the Donner party being brought on in part at least because Indian tribes in the areas through which they had traveled had deliberately been killing their livestock as they went - apparently was only to harass the travelers whom they didn’t want moving through their region - thus when the Donners were eventually stranded in the deep mountain snows, they had less food available to them than they had contemplated - not very friendly on the part of those Indigenous Americans.....
I spent two years with the Indians of Western Canada. The Stoney tribe near Banff had a term for the Cree tribe just to the east of them, which was interpreted as “Wild Indians”. IOW, only the Stoney were civilized human beings, all the others were savages. No different that most every other culture has believed or currently believes.
The Universities in this country need to be shut down. The nonsense they are teaching is criminal.
I have my priorities and I am not ashamed. : )
I did a Bible study a while back and the Biblical consequence for nationally legalized child sacrifice is invasion and conquest. I’ve seen a couple of references to human sacrifice in Ohio and Louisiana. In your studies, have their been references to human sacrifice, besides just being entertainment or snacks?
later
sorry, have there been...
If their way of life is accurately depicted in the accounts I read, a way of life in which constant war, enslavement of non-Comanche, rape and torture were central features, I'm glad that that culture was defeated. The Comanches were defeated.
But the culture still haunts us from an ocean away.
I did a Bible study a while back and the Biblical consequence for nationally legalized child sacrifice is invasion and conquest.Interesting.
The obvious question. Does Planned Parenthood practice "naturally legalized child sacrifice"?
It was said when there was a full moon, those were the nights most feared by whites because that is when the Comanche rode on their warpaths.
The Comanche actions were the reason why Indians were pushed out of the state, save two small tribes - one in the SE corner of the state and one near El Paso.
Another thing. For some reason the Comanche liked the Germans who moved into their territory outside Austin.
Francis Parkman recounts in his book “Montcalm and Wolfe: The French and Indian War” the horrors committed by the Canadian Indians on the British subjects and soldiers. Not the least of which was the selection, cooking and eating of captives while transporting them to Montreal in front of their French allies.
Youll find this article very interesting
LITTLE BIG MAN
It’s odd how that movie NEVER shows up on cable TV.
