Jimmy Carter reportedly wants to discuss 'permanent peace' with North Korea's Kim Jong Un

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has reportedly said he would be prepared to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in an attempt to bring "permanent peace" to the Korean Peninsula.

"Should former President Carter be able to visit North Korea, he would like to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and discuss a peace treaty between the United States and the North, and a complete denuclearization of North Korea," Park Han-shik, professor of international affairs at the University of Georgia, said in an interview published by South Korea's JoongAng Daily on Tuesday.

Park claimed that Carter visited his home at the end of September and told him that he wanted to "contribute toward establishing a permanent peace regime on the Korean Peninsula."

Carter's comments could further aggravate President Donald Trump after media reports surfaced last month which said a senior U.S. state department official had been sent by the White House to ask Carter not to speak publicly about the geopolitical crisis.

First he has to negotiate the return of unwanted toys with Santa Claus.

Sure, the Rabbit Whisperer did such a great job with Venezuela, and other legendary screwups.

How did Jimmy’s involvement turn out for Venezuela again?

Jimmy Farter ran interference back in the 1980s. In no small measure, that’s why we’re confronting this now. Farter short circuited the process that was building to a head. He then declared victory and here we are.

Now he wants to do it again.

Leftists haven’t a clue how their peace initiatives bring us to the brink of nuclear war.

Carter is trying to scuttle Trump's effective movement against N. Korea. The globalists WANT NoKo to have nukes, evidently.

They want that “unhinged” nuclear threat hanging over the world. Like any crisis it enables them to garner more power, but specifically, it controls Japan and SoKo.

How much land does he want us to give them?

Probably South Korea.

He isn’t even a good person, IMO. He is petty and vengeful.

That ‘partial’ peace he worked out in 1994 didn’t work out so well... The US gave them $4 billion to abandon their nuclear weapons program and they instead took that $4 billion and completed their nuclear weapons program.... Way to go Jimmah Peanut-Head Carter.

Carter’s “peace” accomplihments:

The Khemer Rouge took over Cambodia.
Mugabe took over Rhodesia/Zimbabwe,
Failed agreement he did with North Korea and pushed onto Clinton.
Chavez took over Venezuela.

Just about everything Carter does is praised by the press at the time and over times turns to shit.

Why?

He is so friggin naive.

When Carter was President he tried to give South Korea to North Korea but Congress wouldn’t let him because General “Jumping” Jack Singlaub spilled the beans on his plan.

I’m reading this and thinking about how long American hostages were held in Iran. Think it was 444 days, until Ronald Reagan was sworn in as POTUS.

Wrong negotiator, and it is too late anyway.

The NORKS are firing of nuclear weapons, testing ICBM capabilities and threatening the US directly. The time for negotiation has expired. The NORKS need to disarm or be completely destroyed.

the only way for peace in korea is with one korea. whether it is NORTH or SOUTH is dependent upon the near future. the only way to placate the north is to give them the south...and then whatever else they decide they want, like japan...etc...
