The president tweeted this about the outgoing senator on Tuesday morning:

I used to respect Corker as a thoughtful moderate, but he has totally lost any sense of proportion or priority. It is good that he is retiring. His people deserve much better!

Trump does have a gift of sending the cockroaches scurrying, it’s amazing to watch and they think they’re damaging him when they screech about it. That’s the dense part and it’s oftentimes unintentionally funny.

When he is dead he will be forgotten. My kids 24 to 33 have NO IDEA who Ted Kennedy was. The “lion of the Senate” is a NOBODY to them. What a delusion that they will remain in anybody’s thoughts.
