President Trump's political dalliance with "Chuck and Nancy" already is running into problems, as the top congressional Democrats balk at the president's new terms for a deal to help the roughly 800,000 young illegal immigrants known as 'Dreamers.'
“This proposal fails to represent any attempt at compromise,” House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said in a joint statement, after the administration announced the demands Sunday night.

Chuch & Nancy forget, they have no leverage. Elections and those pesky consequences. If Hillary had won they would be stuffing their agenda down our throats with a ramming rod.

This is funny coming from Democrats (who know nothing of compromise)
The Democrat way of compromise is “you give me everything I want, and you shut up and like it.”
There are no machine gun nests on the wall. That’s a compromise.
This is the big difference with Trump in office.
A typical Republican would enter a negotiation with Democrats like this: "I'd like 100 and they would like zero. I beleive in compromise, so my opening offer will be 50." And as negotiations go on, the number creeps down -- it stops at 25 if the Republican is super lucky, but more likely stops at 10 or less, because -- you know -- Republicans are all about compromise.
Trump starts at 100% of what he wants. Because that's what he wants. He may settle for less than that -- but that depends on how much the other side can talk him down. But the fact is: his opening position is a full 100% of what he wants.
And Nancy's very first thought is: "Where's the compromise????"

I said early on that Chuck and Nancy overpromised their constituencies. Now they will have to go along with Trump to get anything.
Chuck & Nancy think that by throwing a temper tantrum hissy fit like a three year old they will get their way!!!
