Likely the people of the Gatlinburg, TN. region will express gracious and considerate concern for the people in the wildfire damaged resort areas of California, now that the shoe is on the lefty foot.
Google terrain map at link below. The fires are burning in the mountainous area between Napa and Sonoma in the middle of the map.
Horrible. I’ve visited as far as Calistoga. Beautiful area of the state. Feeling utterly helpless for the people and animals.in this inferno way. Saying prayers is all I can do. And if they find out these were from anything but natural causes, my prayers that they hunt any responsible down like dogs. :-(
Thanks for posting.
My heart breaks thinking of the people and animals there.
We live in Vallejo and smelled smoke all weekend.
It got really bad on Sunday night.
I knew there was a fire somewhere but we don’t watch the news.
I thought I saw lightning a couple of times last night.
The smoke was bad and there were high winds that were very hot.
I felt like something really big and awful was happening and closed up the house.
This morning the sky was red, the smoke is awful and there are ashes floating all over the place.
Happy Indigenous Peoples Rebellion Day !
Praying for our neighbors up north. Bad Santa Ana’s down south, hope no more fires begin.
This should have been in breaking news—
(Not stuff about Pence from yesterday.)
It is now main headline on Drudge.
Looking at live feed...Looks devastating!!!
Hope fires out soon and people are all safely evac’ed!
I posted another article—so it would end up in breaking news...people do need to know about this.
Really odd...
the mods pulled your thread off Breaking News this morning...and so I put up a new thread—different article/title...to get in Breaking News...
Now they pulled mine down and replaced with yours...
Don’t care, but I don’t understand their actions...
Two known dead so far one in Mendocino County
The other in Santa Rosa a blind lady was found dead in her driveway trying to evacuate must have stumbled or something
