Pro-Life Women Don’t Loathe Their Own Womanhood

And they celebrate President Trump’s decision to roll back the contraception mandate.

If we believe the social elites, it’s truly a trying time to be a woman in America. Just last November, millions of us were coerced by our own deeply embedded (very deeply, in my case) loathing of our womanhood to vote against Hillary Clinton. And now, just as we’ve really started getting our voices back — albeit through the trope of silent protests based on a television show not exactly representative of American society — that nefarious squad in the White House has turned the screw and ended the contraception mandate for employers who object on religious or moral grounds.

The contraception mandate, if you will recall, is that tidbit from the Obama administration that forced all employers to provide their employees with access to abortifacients (contraceptive methods that can cause abortions, such as the morning-after pill) through their health-care plans. The administration rejected requests for a religious or conscience-based exemption to the mandate, meaning that employers from Christian colleges to nuns found themselves having to choose whether to violate their deeply held pro-life convictions or to incur ruinous fines that might put them out of business.

After years of court decisions against this coercion and repeated promises from the Trump administration to restore freedom to business owners, the White House has finally moved to scrap the mandate.

To read the news, one would think this is a blow to women everywhere. Feminists are up in arms (when are they not, though?). All women, we hear, must be devastated by this decision. As the contraception-mandate battle heats up again (the ACLU has already sued the Trump administration), we’re destined for a fresh round of rhetoric that wildly overgeneralizes about American women.

Bringing life into the works is the epitome of womanhood. Only women can carry children, by design. And men are required to make that possible. It takes a MAN and a WOMAN to make a new life.

Not a trans couple, not a lesbian couple, not a homosexual couple.

When “science “ starts messing around with the natural order of things, it’s not science. It’s Frankenstein sh*t. No amount of “social engineering “ is going to make it normal, because it’s just not.

Liberals play identity politics to say real women, blacks, homosexuals are Democrats and those who aren’t are traitors to their tribe.
Saying that pro-life women hate their femininity is another way of saying that they are rejecting their tribe.
We need to argue this at a higher level, that their identity politics is a merger of tribe and faith / ideology - regressive instead of progressive.

If I understand the “enlightened” position on womanhood it is this: all that makes someone a woman are two lumps and a hole, natural or artificial doesn’t matter, and being pro-woman means supporting (temporary) chemical sterilization for women who happen to have been born with ovaries and a womb, as opposed to women whose lumps and a hole are surgically created.

Is that about right?

Agreed. I’m so tired of identity politics.
