The U.S. Embassy in Ankara on Oct. 8 announced that it had suspended all non-immigrant visa services at its diplomatic facilities in Turkey.

"Recent events have forced the United States Government to reassess the commitment of the Government of Turkey to the security of US Mission facilities and personnel. In order to minimize the number of visitors to our Embassy and Consulates while this assessment proceeds, effective immediately we have suspended all non-immigrant visa services at all U.S. diplomatic facilities in Turkey," the Embassy said in a statement issued on its Twitter account.

Statement from the U.S. Mission to Turkey pic.twitter.com/RjTU3BfSXZ — US Embassy Turkey (@USEmbassyTurkey) 8 Ekim 2017 The move comes at a moment when relations between the two allies are going through severe turbulence, amid the arrest of Istanbul Consulate staff member Metin Topuz late on Oct. 4 over espionage charges and alleged links with some leading members of the Gülen network, accused of being behind last year’s failed coup attempt.

According to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, Topuz is accused of talking on the phone with Zekeriya Öz, a fugitive former prosecutor who was dismissed from his post, and four former Gülenist police officers, Yakup Saygılı, Nazmi Ardıc, Mahir Cakallı and Mehmet Akif Uner, before the December 2013 graft probes.

If there are nice cities in Turkey, why do most Turks want to come to the U.S.?

LA alone has thousands of them.

I would imagine it would be a nice place to visit for a couple of days with a tour group. Not so much for someone who spent a year learning the language and had to deal with the ass-hats in Ankara while the little Napoleon (Erdogan) chipped away at the democratic foundations that used to exist.

Mostly tourist visas. Non-immigrant as opposed to immigrant visas.

It’s like the U.S. pre-Trump era, schmoozing the Saudis, giving weapons to the Taliban, bumping bellies with Saddam and dealing with and giving enemy countries multiple billions of tax dollars.

So there ya go.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 both make it clear that areas of what today is Turkey, but in those two books uses their ancient names, will be with Russia, Iran, all the ‘Stans nations, other parts of Eastern Europe, and even maybe parts or all of Austria or Germany depending on the ancient names, all will come against Israel in these Last Days. Yes, Turkey will be in a war soon. They won’t be invading the USA, but they could seize our facilities there. We current have military missions there still. Back in the Cold War we had lots of listening posts along those borders to listen to the Soviets.

Obam’s greatest international friendship. Muslim Brotherhood filth. I ask each owner of a local convience store where they are from. “Hey, are you from India or Pakistan? Are you from Indonesia? Why? It is so important for “White / BLACK Christian Culture” to assimilate into the new Sharia mindset and law.

Funny how the liberal left will never talk about Sharia but hates Christians!

The Turks just did the same to us, within the last few minutes./

No big deal. We have more leverage on them than vice versa.

When one thing happens one side of the world, then watch the other side closely. That’s how President Trump operates.

So while all eyes are on Western Asia.... Eastern Asia or North Korea and possibly China.

My guess is we are trying to make sure Russia takes our side if China gets upset that we hit North Korea.

That way if China goes to war with us, then will have them surrounded with Russia to the North, Afghanistan to the west, South Korea, Japan to the East and South (think two major U.S. Military Bases on the island of Okinawa, Japan).
