Here’s an option Chuck -— Amnesty for no more than 800K DACA individuals in exchange for term limits for congress. One 8 year term for Senate and one 6 year term for House. One term served in either is lifetime maximum. Current congressional member’s clock start with current term. Let’s see how agreeable Chuck is to deal with these terms when it affects him and his buddies directly!
Thanks and the estemed gentleman failed to mention the aspectes of DACA that must be a part of any allowance to stay:
4. End chain migration. Entry per individual qualifications, not family ties.
5. Deportation upon contact with any law enforcement agency · federal, state or local;
6. No government benefits beyond critical emergency care (and that ought to be billed back to the home government);
So was prosecuting Hillary and you see how long that one lasted.

Not one of them mentions Donald Trump.
In June 2015, when Trump announced he would seek the GOP nomination, Trump stated that he would revoke Obama’s unconstitutional DACA Executive Order “immediately” after taking office.
Instead, eight months (!) after he became president, Trump punted the DACA issue to Congressional Republicans, even though Trump knows a DACA Amnesty can easily win a majority in the Senate, and even though Trump knows the GOP House leadership totally supports a DACA Amnesty.
Ronald W. Reagan and Alan Simpson signed on to the same deal, Senator Grassley, and that was 1986, and we know what happened since.
Grassley entered Washington with Ronald W. Reagan: only Grassley is still there.

No trades should be made until after the wall is built. Any sort of Amnesty for any subgroup of wetbacks will start the whole rush to the border all over again.
Who would have _dreamed _it would be this hard to enforce the law.
My first thought was “no deal”.
But now I am thinking, yeah, let’s go ahead and make a deal. Build the wall and amnesty the dreamers. Build the wall first, then renege on the amnesty part. Kind of the same as the left did to Reagan/conservatives but in reverse this time.
