President Trump questioned early Thursday why the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is probing Russian interference in the presidential election, wasn’t also targeting “Fake News Networks.”
“Why Isn’t the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!” Trump tweeted.
His comments came a day after the committee’s chairman, Richard Burr, said the panel “has more work to do” to determine whether there was collusion between Russian officials and Team Trump during the 2016 presidential election.
“The committee continues to look into all evidence to see if there was any hint of collusion,” Burr said at a Capitol Hill news conference, where he stood alongside the committee’s top Democrat, Mark Warner of Virginia.
The news conference underscored that the probe is expanding and is not shying away from the question of collusion — which the president has repeatedly dismissed as a “hoax.”
Trump often attacks the media and targets certain networks or articles as “fake news.”

There are these little things called FCC rules and regulations that spell out the conditions of maintaining a license to broadcast.

The 21 scandal was bigger than Hillary’s history of rigged debates.
Ooooh! I think that is a good idea. “Fake News” term makes it sound kind of funny, but really this is an all out effort by some very devious men with an agenda. Really, it’s a heinous work in progress.
Perhaps Disney, Comcast, and Viacom should be forced to sell-off their respective MSM properties. And how’s that TW AT&T deal progressing?

A zillion dollars, army of liberal lawyers and endless hours are spent to see if Russia somehow influenced people to vote for a Republican candidate.
ZERO dollars and NO effort is taken to see who’s bought off the leftist media which blatantly did everything they could, 24/7, to get people to vote for a Democrat candidate.

Networks don’t have broadcast licenses. Local stations do, and anyone can protest the license of their local station.
