The Trump administration was ordered by a federal judge Wednesday to immediately enforce new restrictions on the release of potent methane emissions at oil and gas drilling operations on public land.
The ruling came at the behest of California and other states, which charged the administration is required by law to enforce the new rules intended to cut the release of 175,000 tons of the potent greenhouse gas annually, as well as reduce the emission of associated toxic pollutants.
The Interior Department had been delaying enforcement as it mapped out a strategy to rescind the new rules, which industry has complained are onerous. An earlier push by opponents of new methane restrictions to kill them in Congress fell short of the needed votes amid a backlash from landowners affected by pollution from drilling and environmentalists.
The ruling was the latest in a series of legal setbacks for the Trump administration, as the courts find flaws in its plans for dismantling executive branch actions taken to confront climate change before President Trump took office.

It's not a law passed by Congress. It's regulations imposed by a federal agency.

It’s not a law. Tell the judge to seal his sphincter to end his own methane emissions.

The administration is charged with enforcing law. If these are bureaucratic rules and not laws, Trump can laugh in their face.
And even if they were laws, he can prioritize enforcement any way he sees fit. Or, like Obama treated DOMA, he can determine the law is unconstitutional and refuse to enforce.
Give it up judge. You’re not the Chief Executive.

Do an Obama. Ignore it, and say you are studying how to implement it. The process will take a few years.

If federal immigration law can be ignored for decades then this silly little thing can be ignored.

Who are these idiot judges who make rulings way beyond their knowledge or intelligence?
The short answer to your question is that we have put people in positions of power who have been educated beyond their intelligence.
bit longer response would be something you already agree with and that is;
"The that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10
Our founding fathers understood the need to know and have a relationship with the Holy One, our creator, Christ Jesus. That is why they specifically gave Him credit for our independence, and for our rights in the preamble of the constitution. They wrote our Constitution with His precepts in mind. So if we pray for wisdom, God will grant us the knowledge to know the truth, and the intelligence of how to properly use that knowledge. Then and only then we will have the wisdom of God that is needed to properly rule the world we live in.
Unfortunately we are often times ruled by evil men who despise God. In turn they appoint judges who have been educated beyond their intelligence. They interpret the writings of men who had a significant superior intelligence then they could ever hope to have without Christ in their heart.
Thus we have judges making rulings from their hearts instead of their minds. No logic in their reasoning, just feelings. Wisdom is not a feeling, it is a logical response to a certain set of circumstances that takes a belief in God to truly understand. Thus, and I repeat myself, we have leaders who have been educated beyond their intelligence.
This is why men like Trump and Reagan run circles around these emotional fools.

If federal immigration law can be ignored for decades then this silly little thing can be ignored. President Trump can declare the public lands as "Methane Sanctuary Public Land", and that's the end of that.

This is ridiculous. If DJT can be legally bound by actions taken by a previous administration, that means the previous administration still more powerful than the current one. Under no reading of the Constitution do directives from out-of-power administrations compel action on the part of successor administrations.
