The Department of Defense has officially severed all ties to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). The DOD’s Office of Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity, which teaches about racial, gender and religious equality and “pluralism,” had been using SPLC material.
Good start. Maybe next they can drop The DOD’s Office of Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity.
They need to point out that the SPLC is a terrorist organization.

Now they need to add SPLC as a known extremist group.
The DoD has its own intelligence officers. Why would they need to rely on a leftwing organization for “training materials” in the first place?
Danial Greenfield will be thrilled... the SPLC - one very evil group - starts to bite the dust... Could this have anything to do with laundering money in ‘the islands’?
Gee, who would have thought there would be any problems allowing extremists define who and what is extreme?
Imagine taking ownership of a hotel where the previous occupant had eight years to embed all sorts of booby traps, mines and termites eating away at the frame. Not only do you have tend to them without destroying the building, but you have to treat the sabotage in the right order in order to avoid worse problems. On top of that, you have family members and associates who are supposed to be on your side interfering with most of what you are trying to accomplish, because they don’t understand the defects or think they are cool.
I suggested this in a race relations course in the USAF back in 1977. The SPLC was stating that the Sons of Confederate Veterans was a violent subversive organization and the Black Panthers a nice helpful group of blacks. Of course the director, a black sergeant, threatened me with an Article 15 for insubordination and not respecting the course material. Other enlisted white men taking the course quietly told me to just STFU and get through the propaganda and cause no more trouble.
They are too damn lazy to come up with raining materials on their own.
