This is the first image of the suspected gunman who killed at least 50 people when he opened fire at a music festival in Las Vegas.
Stephen Paddock has been named as the shooter who shot dead crowds of revellers at a country music event on the city's world famous strip.
As well as the 50 people confirmed dead, over 200 others are injured after the gunman opened fire on music festival revellers.
Crowds were enjoying the Route 91 Harvest country music festival when the shooter reportedly started spraying bullets from a hotel balcony.
As terrified revellers fled for their lives, officials received reports of an "active" gunman and patrol vehicles descended on the popular US Strip.
Some officers were seen taking cover behind their vehicles, while others carrying assault rifles ran into the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) later confirmed that one suspect was dead and that he is believed to have acted alone.

86 killed, 500 wounded in Nice, France. Whether it is a truck or a gun, or plane it doesn't matter because they are just tools.
This needs to be said before ANY talk of gun control with your friends at work this AM: "Almost as deadly as the truck used in Nice, France". THAT is how you deflate your anti gun friends/family/coworkers/neighbors, etc.
With all of that being said, I don't think it was a legal Form 4 full auto, TRUE belt fed (MG3, M60, PKM, M240, M1919 etc.
Slide fire stock methinks.

First one was a 50-75 rd drum while music playing. Very slow reload to the next magazine. Very VERY slow reload. Probably a slide fire stock or auto-glove that makes semi's bump fire (similar to full auto) and hard to reload.
There is a video on twitter that makes me believe this is an auto glove due to variable ROF (rate of fire) going up and down, waning almost. Probably just the sonic rack and echos off buildings/walls.
I'd be willing to bet money that this will be the type of weapon:
1) Semi auto AR 15 or AK.
2) with belt fed upper (accessory) or drum magazines.
3) full auto (DIY) that could be: a) with a bump fire stock (slidefire), b) ...possibly an auto glove....c) ECHO AR II triger.
I highly doubt he used ATF form 3, Form 4, or Form 10 firearm according to Title 1 NFA of 1934/GCA68 weapons.
FWIW...prayers for the victims and to HELL with the gunman and the politicians whom will shortly be dancing on the graves of the citizens and the Constitution.

My guess is that he’s a far left progressive, who hated Trump supporters, and that’s why he went after country music fans.

Decided to find the streaming police scanner for my county and am listening to a high speed chase of a vehicle running, sometime in the wrong direction on I-10 - getting multiple police departments involved.
Read through another article and understood shooter was shooting down on a ground venue from pretty high up in the hotel.
