Gee, will whatever 3-letter network is covering that game, show the whole team standing during the National Anthem?

But it is a double-edged sword. Depends upon which can shame the miscreants more, those who are against the unwanted activity, or those who are in favor of doubling down on the bad behavior.

Oh how nice of these pricks, after getting their arm twisted, they are going to stand for our National Anthem, something that someone with an IQ of 5 would know automatically to do but these multimillionaires who throw footballs for a living have to be TOLD to stand..they mind as well be saying “OK OK I’ll stand are you happy now!”

As far as I can tell, I don’t think the black players are doing this, except for one reason, to show defiance. It has to do with black “pride”. It is a way to say ____ you to authority. It is along the same vein as wearing a hoody, having pants that hang down to the knees, listening to rap that tells them to kill pigs etc., and having many kids out of wedlock to prove how much of a man you are. I think that this is their way of proving how black they are and how that they are no one’s “Uncle Tom”. It’s an identity thing.
This is why they will not want to stand and hold their hand over their heart for the National Anthem and our Flag. They have steeped themselves in the spirit of defiance.
I know Pouncey and his twin brother and this does my heart a world of good. Should never have come to this, though!
I am going to watch the first 5 minutes of tonights game...just to see what goes on.
But then I’ll move along, the magic has died after a long illness.
