It is also the right of the Dallas Cowboys to fire them for doing so.

After McCain gets re-elected, he is ALWAYS on the wrong side of every issue. Before the elections, he promises to vote the way the people want......so glad he won’t be running again. Maybe AZ can get an actual Conservative in office, instead of a person resting on his ‘laurels’ and lying about his future votes.

It makes no difference what the President says, McCain will declare it not so and the press will breathlessly report it.

At the rate McCain is going, the loony Leftists are going to lionize him for decades to come as being the "model" of bi-partisanship.
Forget the fact that McCain inevitably always folds like a cheap suit.

I don’t think anyone has claimed they DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT to kneel.
Supporters keep wanting to talk about a RIGHT that nobody is claiming they don’t have. It’s easier to talk about a strawman than make a have an honest discussion or make logical arguments for your side.
To: markomalley
He’s correct. They do have the right to take a knee. But they don’t have the right to continue to be profitable.

The players have a right to kneel, they don’t have a right to play. The owners need to show them how it works.

Isn't there something in the Constitution where if the congress critter betrayed the people who voted them in, then it's the firing squad for Treason?
If it's not in there, then it should be.

It is not their right to do so.
They are employees, and being at the game is on company time.
They can kneel off the field and on their time, not ours.

It gets very tiresome to keep hearing from liberals that the pro-BLM football players have the "right" not to stand for the pledge on account of the First Amendment. Nobody is denying that they have a right to do so. They aren't being fined or imprisoned by act of Congress, so their First Amendment Rights are intact.
If the players are fired or their contracts are not renewed for doing so, that is their employer's right, and this would not be in violation of anybody's First Amendment. The First Amendment doesn't guarantee you a job if you mouth off to your boss or violate expected conduct while on the job.
