At a crucial moment, Donald Trump is forcing the world to confront core questions it really shouldnt have to ask: Can he be trusted? And, more saliently, can America be trusted? His threats to jettison the Iran nuclear deal are undermining Americas credibility as a negotiating partner and weakening Americas ability to lead the free world as it has for 70 years.
In his rush to bulldoze President Obamas accomplishments, Mr. Trump has withdrawn from the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement, leaving China with a freer hand to set trade rules in Asia; abandoned the hard-won 195-nation Paris Agreement to address climate change; and sowed grave doubts about his commitment to NATO, the bedrock alliance that has kept peace in Europe after World War II.
Now, Mr. Trump is threatening to torpedo the 2015 nuclear deal, which imposed strict limits on Irans nuclear program in return for a lifting of international sanctions. He has hinted that next month he will not certify that Iran is complying with its commitments, even though the head of Americas Strategic Command just said that it was. The certification is required every 90 days; a failure to provide it could lead to the re-imposition of American sanctions and cause the agreement to unravel.
Perhaps the most immediate consequence of reneging on the Iran deal is that it will make it even harder, if not impossible, for the president to negotiate a peaceful resolution of the crisis over North Koreas nuclear weapons program. The Norths leader, Kim Jong-un, is erratic and frightening, but why would it help matters to eliminate any confidence Mr. Kim might have in Mr. Trumps word?
Such a reckless choice on the Iran deal would also free Iran to resume unfettered nuclear activities and constitute a slap in the face to

Gee thanks for the barf. How about I don’t read it but say I did?
I’m beginning to suspect that the NYT does not like Trump.
Completely.
We can trust them to lie, to distort the truth, to present half-truths. We can trust the New York Times to support sodomites, abortionists, gun-control-freaks, islamists, socialists, communists, and tyrants of every sort. We can trust the New York Times to make excuses for the worst failures of every wretched totalitarian regime, while smearing liberty and those who promote liberty.
And these filth have the temerity to speak ill of Donald J Trump? Piss on them. Piss on them all.
Trump is standing up for America and Americans and that makes the NY Times mad.
At a crucial moment, Donald Trump is forcing the world to confront core questions it really shouldnt have to ask: Can he be trusted?
Trusted to support America’s interest first? Yes.
Trusted to work to improve life in America? Yes.
Trusted to fight globalism? Yes.
Trusted to make liberals crazy? Yes.
Trusted not to give in to tin pot dictators? Yes.
The NYT never acknowledged Trump’s leadership, so how can he have lost a trust they never recognized in the first place.
That’s the problem when you act like a horses ass. When the time comes you’ve already shot your bullet.
Trump is doing just fine, and the NYT is nothing but a cartoon these days.
It’s hard to read this anti-American filth.
The idiocy of the Times: “negotiate with North Korea”
That shipped has sailed in the last 20 years. Rocket Man wants that Iranian money that sucker Obama gave to his Shiite friends. Thus is a con and a shakedown and it has to stop.
Obama already ruined any trust you slimeballs.
all Americans have the right to protest the protest...no one is saying they don’t have the right to do what they did. but I as a consumer have the right to not watch them preform in sports oh I feel they are disrespectful.
I, for one, continue to support Trump, not always, but in this latest brouhaha, 100%. Yesterday was the first Sunday in 60+ years that I could have watched, but didn't watch any NFL football. I didn't even bother to find out if the Giants won or lost.

“Gee thanks for the barf. How about I dont read it but say I did?”
This is the money quote.
“The Iran deal is a political commitment that is not legally binding,”
And you, New York Time, have become a laughingstock
Interesting, because I kinduh like what he’s done....
“Cut! Change Scene...”
The Partisan Shills of the New York Slimes continue their smears. Thanks Ennis85.
Now they get their panties in a bind because we are doing what's best for our allies and not so good for our enemies - go figure...
He did a reality check on globalism and it’s sick social ideology.
