Just one day after her partys success in the German federal elections yesterday (September 14), Frauke Petry, co-chair of far-right party Alternative for Germany, said she would not be part of the parliamentary group.
Petrys surprise announcement after the far-right AfD won around 13 percent of the vote in Germanys elections, an historic result meaning that the party would not only enter parliament for the first time but also as the third strongest party.
The news appeared to come as a shock to her colleagues, with fellow co-chair Jörg Meuthen telling German press agency dpa, that he had had no knowledge of the decision beforehand and called it a bombshell.

> Oh. Sensitive are you? <
LOL, not at all. Just curious!
3 days ago Der Spiegel revealed she had a Syrian refugee as a housekeeper. Doubtless more revelations were forthcoming. Remember, she is a foreign-born lesbian. Thanks montag813.
If you’ll recall - something very similar happened with the leader of the Brexit vote right after his side won in Great Britain.
I get the feeling these folks and their families are being threatened.
Now look here see.... you can go off and make the circuits ... and some pretty good dough I might add... giving speeches ... tamp it down just a bit though not too loud ... or you can meet your great gandpappy and tell’em what a good little boy/girl you been. No? How about that little niece of yours? Hmmm?
The leader of a party quits?
Huh? Wrong metaphor. She wasn't "knifed" by the party. Quite the opposite. Narcissistic b!tch that just defrauded her voters. On the upside, better now than later.
She was born in Dresden and is living with fellow AfD member, Marcus Pretzell.
Or she was working undercover and didn’t expect to win.
Blackmail.
Your quote leaves a lot to be desired.
What I don't understand about your link is how you a freeper can believe anything the media says?
So your problem is me. No wonder you are stalking me then.
Problem you have there though, is the way Petry resigned, that AfD members were in open shock, says a lot that you are too shallow to accept.
Difference between you and me is, I couldn’t care less what you think.
"We should be open about the fact there there is conflict regarding content within the AfD, we should not pretend it doesn't exist," Petry later told reporters. She added that the party had become "anarchical" in the weeks leading up to the election and "cannot offer the voter a credible platform for government."
She did not lead the party in this years elections, which was allegedly due to differences in opinion on the partys direction.
As I see it, Petry, as a founding member, quit the party, after Alice Weidel led it to Germany's third most powerful position in the election. It is Alice Weidel who proclaims to be lesbian, has a partner and two children, living in Switzerland. Alice Weidel states she is not in favour of same-sex marriage.
PETRY left, WEIDEL right.
“I want to practice real politics in the spirit of good conservative politics and be part of the actual shaping of things,” Petry said.
The AfD is due to elect its candidate line-up at this weekends party conference in Cologne, where police are preparing for tens of thousands of demonstrators taking to the streets to protest against the party. Candidates mooted as possible replacements to fill Petrys shoes include Alexander Gauland, a 76-year-old former member of Angela Merkels Christian Democratic Union, and Alice Weidel, a former Goldman Sachs economist.
Now, Petry was a little pissy about having to step down while getting stabbed in the back by AfD during a criminal investigation. So to get even she pulled this action, taking her seat of power from AfD to be an Independent while admitting to the world they are a bunch of crazy losers who will never govern.
What the stunning success of AfD means for Germany and Europe
