I’m left scratching my head wondering how anyone can remain a registered Democrat in this day and age.
I realize there are brain-dead Leftists, but I know there are still folks whose family registered as Democrats decades ago, who are reluctant to change. George Putnam was one of those people. He still advocated for sound Conservative policy. I don’t think you can do that any longer.
When your political party starts backing people who want to destroy your nation, it’s way past time to pull the plug on support.

same, but I had this conversation with a guy who moved down here form Chicago, and was a big union guy.
I told him about guns, immigration bathrooms, cross dressing, illegals getting welfare, etc
He had all the same position as me, but for some reason could not bring himself to get away from a party which has gone anti American.
In the end I said then why not go back up north as we are a right to work state , and we enjoy more freedom.
The weather he said, and his fat pension he gets from up north.
I ask that same question about Douglas Schoen a few times a year. He reminds me of how the majority of democrats used to be; reasonable, logical and yes, even tolerant.
