The Left continues to run hard with the “if you oppose idiocy involving blacks, you are a racist” meme. And make no mistake about it, #BLM is idiocy. The entire movement was built on the foundation of the Michael Brown “hands up, don’t shoot” lie. The idea that policing of criminal behavior by blacks is out of line is absurd by any objective measure, which Heather McDonald has ably documented. The murder statistics alone should be enough to make any thinking person realize this.
Calling thinking people racists is a sure bet for more Dem losses in 2018 and 2020. I’m seeing it at the retail level, so they have no self-awareness here at all. I’ve encouraged Leftists to continue to push this, and they double down on stupid.
