Culture war is a good term for this. You define a country as a place with borders, language and culture. I don’t care what color you are as long as you act like an American. Disrespecting America while claiming to be an American makes you a hypocrite.
I think I’ll start counting virtue signaling and racial understanding qualifiers on these and the church shooting threads
