As part of a wave of protests throughout the NFL in the wake of President Donald Trump's NFL-related comments, the Steelers will not be on the field for the playing of the national anthem before their game against the Bears on Sunday.
Coach Mike Tomlin told CBS his team would remain in the locker room for the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner.

I wish I had placed a bet that the NFL would self-destruct this year. I could have cleaned up. This has been unraveling for awhile, but OMG these idiots are just stomping on the accelerator now. They will probably play another season or two, but I expect pro Football as we have known it to be over already. I don’t plan to ever see another game.

Steelers are dead to me and this family now. They can collectively kiss my arse. Bunch of millionaire crybabies. So oppressed when they drive around in their high end cars and play in a stadium paid for by people who cant even afford a damn ticket. Screw them all.
